Salem Ridge Golf & Academy

Joined the practice facility as a member this year and it's the best decision I've made! The staff are helpful and kind, with very early playtimes (7:00AM) and they let you hang on the range well past 8:00PM. The pace of play is quite quick in the mornings, I'm often finished my 9 hole in under an hour and a half. Perfect for busy professionals who want to get more golf in their lives.

Disappointing experience overall. The course itself is decent, but the staff left a lot to be desired. While they tried to present themselves as professional, there was a noticeable lack of competence and common sense in how things were managed—from disorganized tee times to poor communication at the clubhouse. It felt like I was dealing with people going through the motions without any real understanding of hospitality or customer service. Definitely not the standard you’d expect from a golf facility trying to maintain any kind of reputation. Do better, be better.

Practice area and putting green were in really nice shape, but the range was absolutely horrible, basically hitting off dirt with minimal grass. A high end facility, I would expect this to have better grass maintenance

Great experience today. Range balls were good with only one bad one. Gotta watch for that, some days can be a crapshoot. Grass range was decent, it gets a lot of play so you have to look for good grassed spots. Short game practice area is perfect. Both greens mown tight and both responsive. You can work all short game shots here. Definitely worth the drive just for this 👌🏻

Came to the course today with a couple friends to enjoy the weekend. Unfortunately our experience at the golf course today left much to be desired. To start the course wasn’t scheduled efficiently. We had to wait 20 mins after our tee time to even begin due to poor scheduling. This carried on at every hole and had caused the players trailing us to catch up and caused them too wait as well. So after waiting for 20 mins to get going at every hole we also felt rushed as the queue behind us was waiting. This really slowed down the pace of the game and had us taking an unreasonable amount of tim…

Came to check out the course with some friends, but the experience was frustrating from the start. The course was clearly overbooked—we waited about 20 minutes at every hole. Why not reduce tee times if pace of play suffers this badly? Overall, this was a disappointing round due to poor planning and rude staff. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

Good practice facility. The 9 hole is great for beginners

One of my favourite courses to play at. This is a hidden gem that is not expensive and you can get a quick round in, in less than an hour and a half. It’s not a long courses (drivers not needed) but it’s always kept in great condition. If you haven’t played here yet, book a time!

Nice course, but the people running the place overbook people to make more money. I’ve played here 3 times this year, and I get that a lot of people want to play golf, but waiting 10-15 minutes on each tee box isn’t right. There were points where there was two groups in front of us for the group in front of them to finish the hole. Could easily finish the course walking in 1.25 hours but it took 2.5 hours.

Pretty nice range. Lots of pins to aim at. No, It hasn't changed, except for the price of the buckets lol. Update for early 2024: Grass tees are in good shape! Get out here! Update for mid 2024: Still great.

Salem ridge is a nice short mostly par 3 course with a couple par 4’s sprinkled in. It’s a great course for beginners however challenges intermediate to long time golfers. The grounds are clearly taken care of to an extent, not a problem with greens and fairways are rarely troublesome. Only feedback I can really give is the staff to stop overbooking. Waiting at the tee is a common occurrence here and waiting 10-15 minutes at the tee is not uncommon. Overall good course and is my main course as the price is amazing.

Great practice facility to work on your golf game. Has all the areas to practice everything from chipping, sand work, to hitting every club you have in your bag. Staff is very friendly, and the cost to use the facility is very reasonable. Plenty of parking, although it would be nice if it was paved parking.
