In summary

Sand Point Golf Course is frequently praised for its scenic views of the Ottawa River, friendly and welcoming staff, and affordable pricing. The course layout is generally appreciated for being both challenging and forgiving, with well-maintained fairways and greens. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as hard or bumpy fairways and occasional slow pace of play, as well as discrepancies in advertised pricing. Despite these concerns, the overall experience is considered positive, with many appreciating the efforts to improve the course and facilities.

Amazing course and very affordable prices! Thank you for such a great time! Had a very nice putting and chipping area, I will be back to play again!!

This is my first time golfing Sand Point. Challenging course, tough greens. Soldi value, and great views of the Ottawa River from some holes. A dog leg left and a dog leg right (both par 4s) make you strategically pit your driver away bot on all other parts 4s and 5s, you can grip it and rip it. Course was in good shape, pace of play was perfect.

Gorgeous views and great staff with an excellent bar and restaurant. Fairways and greens could've been in better condition but o believe this is peak season (Mid June). Make sure to play 18 as the turn has some of the best views of the river.

Decent track in the Ottawa valley. Course is in good shape. Not a lot of overly challenging holes. A couple long par fours. A few easy doglegs. Not too much in the way of hazards in play. Staff was all friendly. Course is very open. The rough is fairly thick throughout. They might keep the rough shorter, but it's been raining for a few days, so the mowers may not have been able to get all the long stuff. Greens are about a 3/5 with a bit of winter kill. Lots of very subdued undulations that catch you off guard.... Definitely worth a play.

Beautiful course in great shape. Friendly staff and a good price. Only negative...not a single drink/snack cart over 18 holes!

Buyer Beware. I enjoy looking for some twilight deals and Sandpoint had a good one. Spring and Fall $22.12 for 18 walking after 3pm. I reserve for 3:15 PM, arrive at 2:30 to hit a bucket of balls before hand and do some chipping and putting. The pro shop tells me it will be $50 each plus the balls. I ask about the special and they tell me the rates have changed and that is just for 9 holes. I did not want to make a big deal about it so I paid. Might also mention I drove 50 minutes there and back. Anyway I just looked at the website and clearly I got robbed. Even the summer rate after 3pm is no…

Not a bad course. Nice layout and was in decent shape. Tee boxes were average fairly leveled. Greens were just aerated so were slow and lots of sand on them (not reflected in my ratting) . Fairways were well maintained and green. Has some nice views of the river and scenic with all the leaves turning for fall. Overall fairly easy course for a reasonable price, would recommend and would go back.

Unfortunetly did not enjoy our Sandpoint experience, was suprised with all the great reviews (golfed with spouse and another couple), T-boxes were very used and almsot impossible to stick a simple T into, fairwairs are hard like rock and very bumpy (like speed bumps) which made driving a cart a rocky experience, the greens had lots of brown on them which was so surprising after all the rain we got this summer.....the scenery and shape of the course is nice but trees block most of the river view..... felt like the course was in need of some serious maintenance upkeep. Staff in pro-shop and bar…

Very welcoming staff. Fairways and greens were in great shape this year. A 5 star value for the money. Some fairways were a bit bumpy. Good to see ongoing efforts to improve an already very good course.
