Played before 9:30am on a Monday and a group in front of us fell two holes behind after 4 holes! Eventually we decided to skip 6 & 7 and just play 8 & 9 and then leave. Occasionally it’s fun to play here but most of the time it feels more like a Natick retirement community course.

Scott from Sassamon Trace Golf Course is absolutely awesome! He was incredibly helpful and patient, teaching me the right techniques for golf. I drove over an hour just to take lessons with him, and it was totally worth it. I’ve taken lessons at other locations before, but Scott is by far the best instructor I’ve had. My golf swing has improved so much, and he even worked with my schedule when I was sick—making it super easy to make up a missed class. He was so understanding, and I can’t wait to take more lessons—maybe one day I’ll be a pro, lol!

Sassamon is a fantastic executive municipal course. The greens are fast and tricky (in a good way). The course layout is thoughtful, with four great holes exposed to the wind links-style, and five holes built in a more traditional parkland style. I really appreciate that the course is partially built on a capped landfill, which is one of the best ways to use this sort of space. The course even uses thoughtful irrigation techniques to ensure minimal environmental impact. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable for the area. I can’t recommend Sassamon enough!

I took golf lessons with Scott Guild two years in a row. He is a calm and clear-spoken teacher. The classes are structured so there is plenty of individual attention, as well as room to work on your own. He offers great tips that are easy to remember. I highly recommend taking his class/clinic at Sassamon Trace.

I took an introductory group lesson series with Scott, and it was fantastic. It was exactly what I needed to get started with the sport with a bit of confidence. Everything from grip, to swing fundamentals, plus a bit of real play and etiquette too. Love the golf course as well!

Love this golf course! Yes, it gets crowded, as do most golf courses in the area. The setup and care of the course is nice and very beautiful. It is challenging, but not too hard or long. I really like golfing here!

Fun short course with a couple of linky holes and a few traditional ones. Went on a windy day and that added a lot of challenge. Nice course a little on the expensive side for 9 off season.

One of my favorites. Not sure if office guys have changed based on some reviews but they have always been super understanding for me. If you go on a middle of a weekend day anywhere it’s crowded.

Words cannot express how appreciative I am for the wonderful golf lessons I received at Sassamon Trace golf course, In Natick by Scott Guild. He is so patient and kind and encouraging. I was a complete beginner, and somehow he was able to come to my level to explain things so I could understand his clear and perfect instructions! If you’re looking for excellent golf lessons then Sassamon trace with Scott Guild is the place to go. He is the absolute best! Also, the golf course itself is a bit deceiving when you first come in. You don’t appreciate right away what a beautiful course it is. It’s w…

Great 9 hole course that is convenient for metrowest golfers. Greens are challenging and in great shape. Although its short, wind and course design make it more challenging than it appears on paper.

Great little hidden gem, built on top of a land fill, first 3 holes are par 3,4,3 are challenging, don’t go right … then the next 5 holes are in an old apple orchard, flat terrain par 5,3,4,3,3, don’t let the # of par 3’s fool ya , well designed holes The 9th is the best hole depending on the hole placement. Over all great little course,
