In summary

Sequoyah National Golf Club is highly praised for its breathtaking mountain views, well-maintained course conditions, and challenging layout that features significant elevation changes. Visitors appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as the reasonably priced amenities and stocked pro shop. However, some guests have noted issues with customer service, slow pace of play, and clubhouse facilities, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

Absolutely stunning mountain golf course! We played in mid-October, and the fall colors were breathtaking. The views are incredible, and the layout is both challenging and fair. The greens were in great shape, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. One of the best rounds I’ve ever played!

The views are phenomenal. The layout is a winner. The conditions good The slope rating high and yardage short. To score you need to have some game. One you will always remember.

Great course that’s in fantastic shape while being reasonably priced. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The changes in elevation are really cool especially for someone from Florida. Beverage cart lady was awesome and the burgers were fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again sometime soon.

Club house was small and had to wait on carts. Had 3:30 tee time on 9/5/2025. However, course was well worth the trip. This place has awesome elevation and was in pristine condition. It beats Maggie valley by leaps and bounds.

My boyfriend and I traveled from our cabin in Blue Ridge, GA to come and play Sequoyah National Golf Course. It was our third time staying in Blue Ridge but we decided to play a course we'd never done. I will start by saying that pictures and videos do not do it justice. Just pulling up to the clubhouse and seeing the view was breathtaking. The staff was very friendly, they had a stocked pro shop with souvenirs and also any golf necessities if needed and a grab and go snack area. Range balls were included so we hit for a bit before our tee time. The topography of the course is unlike anything…

Unforgettable mountain views. Cherokee, NC Public course. Run completely by the Cherokee tribe in the Cherokee National Forest. Quite an amazing experience. Absolutely top-notch service, top 30 course in NC. Bent greens, zoysia fairways, and KY Bluegrass roughs. Elevation takes your shots long.

The course was beautiful- really well conditioned. The bunkers were extra penal because the sand was super fine so your ball settled down into it which made it hard to get out of. The customer service definitely could use some improvement. There was no one loading bags and the checkin person was not welcoming at all. They should have someone there to greet you and tell you where range balls were. I got to the range to find out I had to go back to the pro shop to get them- other guys said that also happened to them. The starter should not have been on the first tee- they should have been at the…

We played Sequoyah National on our mini moon after our wedding in Kentucky. We revolved our whole trip around going to this course. The views are absolutely incredible. When they say photos don’t even do something justice, they’re talking about this course. But I’ll upload some anyway! As you practice at the range hitting basically down the mountain, the first words out of our mouths were “this is so cool.” Each hole was more scenic than the next and the cart paths are wild. Since you’re in the mountains, you pay for 18 holes, as there’s no turn. But worth every single penny. Great conditions.…

Played here this past Sunday (Nov 24). Not sure i can put into words how beautiful this course is. Best I can say is what Pebble is to the Ocean, Sequoyah National is to the Mountain, regarding beauty. The golf is pretty darned good as well. Immaculate greens that can be tricky if not read correctly. You will have putts roll back to you if you don't give it enough of a slap! But the greens are fair. Fairways and tee boxes are also in amazing shape. Cart girl came by 3 times during the round and all staff were professional and friendly. This course does not have the cachet of the best courses i…

Played today on Mother's Day which we were told was a great day to come because it wasn't crowded at all for a Sunday. It was an absolutely surreal experience - stunning views and course was in perfect condition. It was my second time playing here (first was last year in February) and I was proud of my 111 score (will be playing golf for two years this coming July). The staff was all very nice and Pro Shop had huge discounts - we saved 50% on shirts, hats, and other cool stuff. Cannot wait to come back to this wonderful slice of heaven!

The course has incredible views on every hole. The staff and starter are very helpful and friendly. The course takes you up and down the mountains of North Carolina and it is located near the Harrah’s Cherokee casino. The course has a good number of tee boxes to choose from and plays very well.

Played 18 holes on our anniversary yesterday. The course is in perfect condition. Couldn't ask for it to be any better. The staff were extremely nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our day.
