Smoky Mountain Country Club We had such a great day out at Smoky Mountain Country Club today! Played 18 holes with another couple, Josh and Sasha, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The course itself is absolutely beautiful—nestled in the mountains with some incredible views on just about every hole. It’s one of those places where you find yourself pausing for a second just to take it all in. The layout was fun and challenging without being frustrating, which made it enjoyable for all of us regardless of skill level. The greens were in great shape, fairways well maintained, and…

Our 8 man golf trip was at Smoky Mountain Golf Club again this year for the 2nd year in a row. We had an excellent time! The Misty Mountain cabin was nothing short of amazing. The people in the pro shop and the grill are great and the food is top tier. I would like to thank Ben Cornblum for helping us set up the trip again. I would highly recommend the stay and play!

Review is a little late but stayed at the resort for a weekend and played the course on 9/20. First the good was lodging very nice and had a recreation area with pool, fitness center, hot tub and tennis courts that was also nice. Staff were friendly and breakfast at club house was very good. Would consider staying here again. The bad was that the greens on the course were unplayable and shouldn’t be open given their current state. While fairways and tee boxes were in great shape, most greens had little to no grass and were too bumpy to play on; the best ones were the greens that were simply r…

We loved our stay! The cabin/condo had everything would need and plenty of space! It was clean and loved the quiet area and easy access to Bryson city! Our only problem to us was at night in dark getting back up to cabin and making right turn but again that was on us'! We will for sure be back! Terri and family

I had a group of 8 play here for my bachelor party in September. Ahead of the trip, I was told by the pro shop that the greens had just been aerated. The pro shop assured me they were in great shape, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth. The staff were friendly and the mountain views/course layout were enjoyable, but the greens were extremely inconsistent — some patchy with heavy sand, others almost completely bald with little to no grass (just dirt and sand). Tee boxes and fairways were fine, but putting was a frustrating experience. They reduced the rate 50% which helped justif…

This place was amazing, so quiet, so beautiful, so serene. It's the perfect spot for some R and R. The accommodations are flawless, clean, so comfortable, and that view from the endless deck was portrait worthy. Thank you very much.

These are the worst greens that I have ever played on in 25 years of playing golf. The course needs to close until they can get the greens back into playable condition. The course management should be ashamed of the condition.

What a treat! We vacation in this area frequently and always have played a particular course which was unavailable this time. We searched online for an alternate and found Smoky Mountain Country Club. We were reluctant because of some of the reviews but decided to take a chance. I am so glad! The course was beautiful and one of the most interesting courses that we have ever played. Every hole was unique. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, they made us feel welcome. This will now be the course we play anytime we are in the area.

I can’t speak on the resort. But these were the worst greens I’ve ever played. We had 2 groups of 4 play and we all agreed. The layout is neat and fairways are in good shape. Greens are more like browns and half of the tee boxes are non existent. Range balls were rocks with words written on them. I assume these were normal conditions because we paid full price and nothing was mentioned about the greens.

Course had the best views I’ve ever witnessed on a course. That said, the greens were in incredibly rough shape which is the only reason this isn’t 5 stars. Would recommend if the course conditions are in good shape.

Got a bit unlucky with the greens being aerated, but the layout of the course was great and staff was very friendly. Once the conditions are back into good shape it’ll be a great course. Make sure to bring a bunch of balls!
