In summary

Sergeant Jasper Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable rates, and charming, historic layout, making it a pleasant choice for casual golfers and those seeking a budget-friendly option. However, many visitors have noted that the course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, need significant improvement, with some describing them as poorly maintained. Despite these issues, the club remains a popular spot for its value and welcoming atmosphere.

This place is something special! Course is in great condition and is fun for everyone! The professional is outstanding, speaks to everyone and will do everything he can to make the experience second to none!

As far as maintenance goes, there are so many better courses worth so much better. Divots everywhere, teebox is just fairway, greens are spotty. Straight putts are impossible

I'm not one to complain, but lord this was bad. The pictures are from the green and the fairways. It literally was like playing in my backyard with an elevated green. I've played cheap courses before, but none of them have been this bad. The holes weren't even labeled, and I'm almost positive the map isn't up to date because I was confused. If I had paid more than 14 dollars, then I 100% would've asked for my money back. Not worth it.

i had a really great time playing there, its a very walkable course that has a lot of room for growth. all the negatives i saw there are problems you would find at courses charging 4x that amount but overall very playable and just a fun challenging nine holes of golf

Good course. Played 9 and the course is in good shape. Had the fairways been freshly cut it would have been 5 stars.

My husband and I love this course due to the ease of getting on it and the cost is around $30 for two nines with a cart. Can’t beat it in the area. The condition of the course isn’t great but the price makes up for it. It’s a great place to keep your golf muscle memory up to snuff while waiting to get on your home course.

Played there today (7/26/24) for the 1st time in 5 years ago and the golf course is the same other then the greens. The greens are much better then they where so that's a plus. But the fairways can be better, you should not be penalized for hitting the ball in the fairway. What I mean is the ball should be sitting up on even grass in the fairway not patchy grass with a 80/20 grass to dirt ratio. There was times my ball was in the fairway but got a bad lie/break cuz the ball was sitting down on dirt then grass. If they can get the fairways in better condition this golf course would be great...…

Went there on decent weather Thursday, 2pm. Couldn't figure out where to park. Pro Shop & clubhouse locked up. What I could see of the course didn't look good....pretty rough. No plans to return with so many other nearby golf options.

This golf course sucks the greens are brown, the fairways are a foot high if the new owners work the other course in ridgeland like this, the PGA needs their head examined for putting a tournament there Now it even worse,no water on the browns 26.80 for 18 holes of dust, cracks and splits in the browns,NO GREENS TO PUTT ON ANYWHERE, they have no idea how to run a golf course...... This golf course is even worse then 9 months ago, now they have horrible management and employees they don't stay open past 3 on Weekdays
