What People Say

In summary

Eagles Pointe Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, scenic views, and friendly staff, making it a worthwhile option for golfers seeking a reasonably priced course. However, many visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, particularly the greens, bunkers, and cart paths, which detract from the overall experience. Despite these concerns, some players have observed improvements and believe the course has potential if further investments are made.

A fine course if you are playing multiple courses during your visit. Very nice layout but there are some repairs needed. Cart path is tough to drive on, rough is better. Some greens being repaired but crabgrass around greens makes putting off the green difficult. Similar to my home course up north except I pay half the price.

Greens are terrible fungus grown and weeds also. Most holes are unputtable. Sand traps are not raked and hard as a rock. Their are so many nice courses in this area i would definately not go back

While visiting the area Feb. 20-22, I had an itch to play golf. Called a few courses and decided on this one. Of course it was still wet from earlier rain, fairways were damp and cart path only, but overall a decent track. Very challenging for my level (17hc) with tight fairways and water hazards everywhere. The clubhouse attendant was fantastic, Matthew was his name I think. He made me feel like I was a regular…he’s certainly is a 5 star professional. Also the guy who handled the bag and carts that particular day is a 5 star professional as well. All in all I enjoyed this course and I will c…

Worst golf course I’ve been to ever. The pro shop didn’t have an understanding of the course. Carts were not available. Grounds was unkept. Pace of play was warned even though we were following proper golf educate. Terrible golf club and should be closed until new ownership. Unacceptable for such a passionate sport! Also does not publish golf passenger fee!!!!

Update - played on 3/13/24 and nothing has change but actually got worse. New company owns them Metropolitan Golf Group but still not seeing any changes. Half the bunkers on the front had water in them from a rain 5 days ago; tee boxes and greens are mixed alright and very bad. Bunkers edges are collapsing on themselves. Did not see one maintenance person on the course. Probably the worst course in the area. Owners, please do something!!! Old review: Really liked the layout and overall condition of the course, a few beat up tee boxes and a few bunker issues. But they seemed to be working on i…

Lots of sand on the greens - streaks, not evenly distributed - weird. Nice course layout & well posted directions from hole - hole. Lots of water & wildlife. Some of the tee boxes were well worn, but greens were mostly green - just very sandy. Average course. I have played better & worse.

The golf course is in the best condition I have seen in years. Great improvement over the last time we played there a couple of years ago. We quit playing there because it was so bad. It’s well worth another try if you did the same as us. Now the bad, the lady working in the restaurant was the most rude person I have ever encountered. She rolled her eyes when I came in because she had to get up off of her seat and put her phone down. She more or less barked at me as to what I wanted. We were getting beers at the turn. I asked for 3 different brands, Miller Lite, Coors Light, Ultra. She said th…

Course is ok. Decent layout, wide open fairways. I don’t think you need to worry about losing a ball here. The greens are kinda bare in areas. For the price it’s to be expected, not going to wow you. For some reason no cart person or a starter on a Sunday. There are definitely better options in Bluffton.

I’m a local and try to play this course 4-6 times a year. I played 12/31 for the first time since the spring. If I’m correct the same company which owns Crescent Point also owns this property. They are slowly starting to repair this course. Some greens are in great shape and some need major work. You can see that tee boxes and fairways have had extra seeding this year and are in much better shape than the spring. IMO it’s a terrific course layout and for a very reasonable price. If they continue to put the work in maintaining the course it will become a must play. Local note if it rains this…

the owners/employees are awesome, super great people, good energy, beautiful course, some rough spots and the cart path is miserable. we also played 18 in 3.5 hours and got told to speed it up, felt pretty unnecessarily rushed. but overall good course and the owners were very nice even with the warning

Mostly good. Some rough patches on the greens but others were in very good condition. Greens were being watered as we played (roughly 4pm) which caused short delays. Directions from Golfnow don't get you to the clubhouse, leaves you short about 3/10 mile. Keep driving straight.

What a great place to golf!!! Even better place to have Bluffton Pressure Washing come and wash your house! Great course at a great price! They have food and drinks from a cart person. I brought my friends from Palmetto Bluff and we had a great time!
