In summary

Pinecrest Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic layout, friendly staff, and enjoyable course design, which offers a mix of challenge and relaxation. However, visitors frequently express concerns about the condition of the greens, with some noting issues such as weeds and inconsistent surfaces. Additionally, the closure of amenities like the driving range and restaurant during certain times has been a disappointment for some guests. Despite these drawbacks, many find the course to be a good value, especially when priced affordably.

We were able to play here for $37 a person. If that was always the price, this would be 5 stars every time. For $37, I don’t have many complaints. Biggest issues was distance between holes and one or two holes not being super clear as to where you go to get to the next one. Which is important since this course is EXTREMELY spread out. No worries though, we still had a great time. It was bummer, however, to see that the concessions were closed (not sure if that’s always the case or what, we went at 12:00 on a Tuesday). And It was also sad to see that the course seems to be on the downturn. Club…

Sunday, June 11,2023; 710 am tee time. The range was closed, restaurant was closed as well. I was eagerly looking forward to warming up and grabbing something to eat prior to my tee time, however that was not the case. The clubhouse has an abundance of bulletins throughout the clubhouse, which I thought was okay but some might find it overwhelming. There’s an ATM that welcomes you to the left as you enter the clubhouse, which is also unique to see. The service is great from inside and outside staff as well, the back patio is great with lots of seating and panoramic views of the course. The cou…

Beautiful scenery and a truly enjoyable course — the layout is both challenging and relaxing. Playing all 18 holes takes at least four hours, so plan accordingly. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time with friends — a perfect spot for both golf and good company.

Course is in good shape. Greens are much better than last year. Would have liked to have a good lunch after the round at 12:30, but they only had hot dogs for sale with basic condiments.

Greens are in great shape and rolled fast. Lay out is fantastic. The views from the clubhouse and the food are great. Best value in the Bluffton area. Will definitely come back often.

$33 for 9 holes for “green fees”. Look at these photos. I could not putt on these greens. Every single one had weeds literally everywhere. Do not waste your money at this horrific golf course. Management and greenskeeper are clearly being over paid, they should be ASHAMED!!! So many other great courses in the area for the same price or cheaper!!!

A beautiful landscape and great customer service and hospitality. I went there because I found an old club in my garage and had time so I bought 50 balls to go to the driving range for $9 and never doing anything golf before, it was easy to navigate where everything was at. When I went to the range and hit a few balls another golfer helped me and gave me some tips and event let me borrow his club for some swings. On top of that I have to say a big thank you to Mr. John who works at the course who helped me on my swing and gave me some more tips. Afterwards he noticed my interest and insisted o…

Had a great time here. Mid-week, mid-day tee time was great, not very crowded. Greens rolled true. Fun, challenging course....keep it in the middle!

Course was in good condition. Greens rolled great, bunkers were more mud than sand, but if you stayed in the fairway, it was not an issue! Enjoyed the course and felt it was a good overall value.

Course is in very bad shape. Greens have a large amount of clumps of grass sprouting up making putting next to impossible unless very close to the hole. Bunkers are compact sand. Layout is good but needs TONS of work. Glad I played it though so I can say that I did it but will not be going back unless improvements made.

This might be the worst course i have ever played. the greens were bumpy with dead sand spots on it and the putting surface was like putting from a fairway or even a rough. Tee boxes barely had grass on them. Worst 130 dollars i have ever spent in my life. I highly advise working on the greens and actually maintaining the course.

Staff very friendly. Restrooms clean. Dormant grass except for greens. Most greens are huge and roll rather quick today. If you hit in the rough or short of the green the grass holds your ball, no rollout. Very enjoyable. We're from Ohio so distance is shorter here. Good 10-15 yards shorter for my irons.
