In summary

Shady Brook Golf and RV Resort is appreciated for its peaceful and scenic setting, making it a pleasant spot for picnics and short rest stops. Visitors enjoy the natural beauty and the opportunity for outdoor activities, such as walking to the nearby river. However, there are significant concerns about the management and facilities, with reports of poor treatment of residents, inadequate restroom conditions, and noise from nearby road traffic.

Tried it for a quick picnic instead of sitting in a cold restaurant. We weren't comfortable with a stranger interrupting our dinner. We didn't feel safe. Maybe when all of the houses are built around the park it will be nice

Great isolated rest stop. If you're an adventure, walk down to the little river. Beautiful.

Worst management I have ever encountered. New ownership took over property, treated residence very poorly, waited for offseason the first year they took over and sent all a 90 day notice to evict all from property. Lots of individuals 70-80 plus year olds just up rooted and tossed out with a very little notice specially in the off season where most had just packed up and returned back to their primary residence to only frantically return and try to salvage all they could which was greatly impacted do to a very short notice to try and relocate RVs park models ect. The developer of this propert…

Boy, they could use a sign near the entrance! I would have never known the name of the park if it weren't for this Google review! It is a very nice place to stop off on the way from Lakeland to Gainesville, they have a porta potty as well, I have been traveling this road , State Road 471, for years and I never knew this place existed and I drove by it literally hundreds of times

Small, clean, pretty, and nice tree canopy for shade, but very noisy from 301 road traffic, the onsite concrete bathroom is usually locked, and the porta john installed for use in place of the bathroom is absolutely disgusting- hasn’t been cleaned & emptied in months.
