Shawnee Bend Golf Course

Absolutely love Shawnee Bend! The course has never looked better, the grounds are in fantastic shape, and you can really tell how much care and pride goes into keeping everything top-notch. The recent interior renovations are stunning as well; the clubhouse feels fresh and welcoming. I even worked out of the clubhouse on a rainy day recently, and the view overlooking Warsaw was absolutely beautiful, such a peaceful spot to get things done. My wife and I (visiting from Texas) had such a great round of golf yesterday at Shawnee bend. Everyone we met was beyond friendly and made the experience feel like we were part of the local golfing community. Our round was after heavy rain and the course was still very playable and one of most unique courses I’ve ever played. No matter what kind of golfer you are this course is worth your time.

This is a long 9 hole course with good views and nice greens for an incredible value. The grass on fairways is dry. Staff is very helpful.

I was very pleased with my experience at the course this last Tuesday. I am not an avid golfer, but enjoy playing a round from time to time. Tuesday was my first time to Shawnee bend. Medina the general manger greeted me as I walked in the club house. And was polite and very helpful on everything. Then as I was looking for my ball on hole 3. Adam the superintendent and grounds keeper happen to be near working, he stopped what he was doing to help me look for my ball. Poor management, poor grounds keeping, pro shop isn’t stocked well, and the course has been in bad shape for as long as I’ve played it. They Randomly fire the workers who actually care. Recommend playing Clinton or Cole camp instead.

The course was well maintained, especially for November golf. It was plainly evident they cared about the course as well as their patrons. Are you going to get resort level fairways and perfect greens? No. What you will get is really good greens and solid fairways. I would go back to this course in a heartbeat. It was challenging, it was fun, and it was worth the price. I say all this coming from Kansas City where we have some great and some awful courses.

Played here May 19th and the course was in bad shape. I have no problem paying for golf but the $40 per person felt like I was over charged for how bad the course was. The greens were nice and the staff was helpful. The fairways were awful mostly dead grass and dirt. They were so bad in fact I don't believe they will be able to get them fixed this year. COULD be an awesome little course if it were maintained. Lots of elevation change, blind corners and tight fairways.

Greatful for a place to play but pictures must’ve been edited or off another course. Hornets also live in the ground on almost every green

I don't know how the course compares to others as I'm brand new to trying golf but the experience was great and the scenery was beautiful. Riley at the clubhouse was extremely hospitable and helped us by giving us some great tips and pointing us in the right direction. My wife and I will definitely be back!

Nice little course. Only nine holes but the design is challenging and the maintenance is decent. The greens were in great shape and rolled well. Green fees very reasonable.
