Simsbury Farms Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging greens, and scenic views, making it a favored destination for both local and visiting golfers. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and accommodating, and the on-site amenities, including the Hilltop Grill, add to the overall experience. Love this course. We have one of our client’s charity tournament on this course every year! Everyone is so pleasant and accommodating! Don’t sleep on the tuna salad or the walking nachos at the Hilltop Grill on-site!

Simsbury Farms Golf Course is a sleeper course here in CT. On paper the layout looks like nothing special, but elevation, well placed trees and bunkers, and subtly difficult greens make it play much more difficult that it appears. We played in early October as a 3-some on a Saturday. Our tee time was the first group behind a large scramble tournament without being informed of the scramble when booking. It wasn't too bad, a little slow, but could easily have been worse seeing as there were 5-somes in the scramble. Conditions were pretty good. Tee boxes level with grass. Fairways were well man…

The course was phenomenal yesterday. Extremely well taken care of. No leaves of sticks on the fairways, tee boxes or the greens.

Course is in very good shape but play was slow. Could use a ranger to move things along.

Nice course, in good shape. Played the front in 2:10, management lets groups go off the back in between groups making the turn. Turned what would have been a great experience into a 5 hour round waiting before every shot on the back 9….

This is a great course with a very nice layout. Plenty of elevation changes and some blind shots. No underbrush to speak of. Fairways are in good shape (some damage from the recent storms, but not much) but several of the tee boxes need reworking. Allot of them need regrading to get them flat again. Nevertheless a great course and well worth the visit.

Was treated horribly by the staff. I was playing regular speed, regular game of golf, when I noticed my hybrid wedge driver was missing off the club. Asked the group behind about it and they said it was on the tee, easy enough. Upon finishing 4 or 5 holes after that, the head manager came over and started belittling us on our playing time and how there was a tournament, and tournament people behind me were going to be late for it. Apparently two groups behind had said something to the staff, ok, I understand, come over and talk with me. However, please do not use an attitude and demean people.…

During peak hours the course can be a bit of a free for all but if you can avoid the rush it is one of the best, most beautiful courses in the area. Good restaurant, driving range and putting green. My friends and I shoot for a late afternoon round of 9 or so and chill out watching the sunset through the valley.
