In summary

Gillette Ridge Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with many appreciating the strategic design by Arnold Palmer. The club offers a pleasant atmosphere with a nice clubhouse and a variety of amenities, including a lounge bar with a good selection of drinks. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about customer service issues, such as inflexible policies and high costs, as well as occasional course maintenance problems and interactions with overzealous course rangers.

The lounge bar at Gillette Ridge Golf Club is a great spot to relax after a round. They have an excellent selection of drinks, including a surprisingly wide variety of craft beers. The IPA is especially good—fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is laid-back yet classy, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Perfect place to unwind and enjoy a quality drink with a great view of the course!

Saturday, September 20th, 2025 Tee Time: 8:00am Price: $93 (Cart Included) Time of Round: 4 hours and 15 minutes Cart Girl: Yes Course Conditions: 4.5/5 Greens: 4.5/5 Very Fast (10-11 Stint), Undulating Difficulty for First Time: Hard Really immersive layout. Not a lot of margin for error on many holes. Also, the 17th green is partially on a bridge which I thought was pretty neat. Suggestion: A lot of very tight, challenging holes. Not difficult to lose balls even with decent shots. Not Utilized: Range (Extra Cost) Resturant/Bar

The golf course is kept in beautiful shape. Well maintained and manicured. Very challenging but playable and enjoyable. Golf pro and Manager Will and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. Five stars !!! They also do a good job of communicating if they are doing maintenance or aeration to let you know course conditions. I highly recommend this course to any one. It also has a nice clubhouse and restaurant as well!

Gorgeous. Might be my new favorite. Seems like most courses now are only challenging because they're long, you definitely need to consider strategy on almost every hole here. If you step into the box and try to blast 300 yards drives on every hole you are gonna have a bad time.

If I would have rated this course a couple years ago it would have been 3 stars, but I play it once a year and it has improved tremendously. I just played last Friday and it was in excellent condition. Cart service was great and the staff was great.

This course is badly designed and sits awkwardly in the middle of a residential community. You literally see people walking around, and golf balls land within feet of apartment buildings. It feels unsafe and poorly planned. The customer service is even worse. If all you need is to cancel your membership, someone might eventually process it. But if you expect an actual refund? Good luck! prepare to be ignored and don't expect to receive a dime back. And don’t bother leaving a voicemail—they never return your calls. Once they have your money, you're on your own. Absolutely unacceptable and deepl…

Course was beautiful and in great shape. Has a unique green on the par 5. You can tell it is an Arnold Palmer course with the accuracy needed for approach shots. Not a course I would walk because of some distances between some of the holes. If I had 1 complaint, it would be the amount of poison ivy up and down the holes.

Love this course. it's always a great place to play. They give you first responder and military discount. There was a lot of rain in the northeast this summer. Traps are filled with water free lift. A few tough holes but a fun time.

This was a pleasant surprise tucked away in Bloomfield, Connected. Arnold Palmer designed a magnificent golf course that challenges all aspects of your golf game. It's a challenging golf course but not to the point where you're no longer having fun. The greens are in excellent condition which makes them delightful to put on. I'll definitely stop by here whenever I'm in town again!

The Rangers here are out of control. Complete power trip. Harassed my group at least five times on the course about pace of play. We asked them if there was a complaint that we were going slow (we were confused considering we never even saw the group behind us on the green) and they said no, but the group in front of us was pulling away. One of the Rangers even drove up to us while we were on the fairway and started yelling at us to pick up the pace during my buddy’s backswing. The Ranger then proceeded to make a snarky “nice shot” comment, and told us we needed to skip the next hole to catch…

Used to play herre often. Was 33 to 35 dollars for walking. This year (last week) had too pay 71 dollars to walk?!! Only explanation is " we don't have a walking rate" Terrible condition, dead tee boxes, 10,000 pitch marks in every green, green moldy slime on some greens, every single bunker on the back was filled to the brim with water and, to top it all off, it took over 5 hours to play. Hot and humid and saw the cart girl for the first time on 17. Like Wintonbury and Lyman Orchards, Gillette is letting greed top all else. Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere... and…
