First time playing this course. If you prefer par 5's this is your place! All the fairways are wide open. You'll be hard pressed to lose a ball here. I'll be back again in another week for sure 👍

Long course that is very wide open. Well kept greens. Easy to get out on. Friendly staff. Nice views of surrounding hills and mountains. They even have a bigfoot statue on the course! Great place to play!

I’m actually a member at Skene Valley and I can’t say enough good things about the new owners of the club! They are very accommodating owners who care about the course and their members. Also, they serve a wicked good 1/2 lb cheeseburger on a toasted bun.

Nice course. Good shape when I was there and considering the weather recently I was surprised. I'll go again for sure.

Sorry this is a long one but bad reviews deserve explanation. But firstI need to make mention of a sign out front that says what tee markers to use for which skill level. Underneath that it said to the effect of; Golf is a difficult game but play wherever you want because it's about having fun. That's paraphrasing heavily but the point is there. The course is not bad, my main complaint is lack of shade. Short of the trees surrounding the course and a few shrubs you are at full mercy of the sun. We ate lunch at the clubhouse. I had a small beer which was cool. It was just after noon and while s…

You can argue there are "nicer" courses in the area, but I think this is the best course for value in the area! The rates are reasonable, the course is long, but wide and the staff and members are wonderful! The course is usually in good shape and open for walking on (tee times not required). In fact, I think I'll go enjoy 18 right now!

I played here last October with a club member. I was impressed with all of the care they were giving the course. I enjoyed a great refreshment artworks in their clubhouse. Good people, and a good course.

A wonderful friendly golfing experience. Easy access to the greens but longer fairways prevail. Fair, nicely maintained greens. The 19th whole is especially friendly.
