We went to the Renaissance Festival that was held there over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The event was very well attended. We walked across a beautiful wooden bridge to actually get into the festival and it was like walking into the Village from Beauty and the Beast. Everything was beautiful it was very quaint there were tons of activities and things going on and all kinds of different people. The food was amazing the prices were reasonable there was a lot of room to maneuver and they had plenty of places to go to the bathroom.

This ren faire is an absolute gem. I would rate the fair itself an 8/10. From the wonderful and amazing vendors, all the way to the charm you feel with every step. I met so many wonderful people, characters, and personalities. It really was amazing, and it pains me to have to give this rating. The box office does not have any clear policy on their wristbands for admission. We came as out of staters with no prior experience to this event. When we purchased tickets all we saw is their ticket policies notated on the ticket purchasing browser. The ticket is clearly listed as the means to gain ent…

We came here for their Renaissance Faire and had a blast. It wasnt crazy expensive, but there's tons of little shops inside to spend money on! The shows were fun and had high energy! Costumes were fun and made everything very playful. This is more of a fantasy faire compared to a true Renaissance Faire. Nonetheless still had a great time!

Had an incredible time at the all-season run on my snowboard! Once I got the feel for it the turf felt comparable to the real thing, and the new RGB lights were awesome! Definitely worth checking out—I’ll be coming back for sure!

Very fun! For the tubing, the conveyor belt you wait on to get to the top of the hill is a little rickety and you still mostly have to walk to the top so it can get exhausting. We always enjoy Sleepy Hollow though especially for the Renn Faire!

The Sleepy Hollow Renaissance Faire is worth the fees for both entry and parking. The medieval village makes it a better festival than many others that only have modern tents set up. The Queen and King of the Pirates make it even more fun.

My family had such a great time tubing yesterday! The staff was so friendly. The girl at the top of the lift was so kind, had a smile for everyone and joked around with my child every time he got to the top of the hill. I saw another employee at the bottom of the hill help an older gentleman that was struggling get out of his tube, with a smile. Even the ladies at the concession stand asked if I was having fun and chatted me up. Great times for all ages!

This place was amazing!!!! Very underrated!!!! We spent about $160 for the tickets for 7 of us to go there. Not only was it a great place for the kids to have fun My husband and I had a blast!!!! Then we walked down the trails to where they set up for the Renaissance fair/haunted houses area and we got to walk through the buildings!!!!! So super fun. I would definitely recommend this place for families that want to have fun together with all ages. Worth every Dollar we spent!!!!

Sleepy Hollow Sports Park in Des Moines is hands-down one of the best Renaissance Faire experiences in the Midwest. The entire atmosphere is immersive, with talented performers, authentic costumes, and a village setup that feels like you’ve stepped straight into medieval times. From jousting tournaments to comedy acts and live music, there’s always something entertaining happening around every corner. The variety of vendors is impressive – whether you’re shopping for handcrafted goods or sampling turkey legs and mead, there’s something for everyone. What really stands out is how well-organize…

Was just there for RenFair with my husband and adult daughter (with autism). We had so much fun! Walked around for 6 hours just watching the entertainment and shopping.. the only time we sat down was to watch the jousting. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, very inclusive. We'll see you again in full garb for D&d weekend ;)
