South Shore Golf Course

South Shore - what else can I say?!? It’s in incredible shape. Tee box grass was long, but the fairways were pristine and the greens rolled really well. Very fun course, lots of character to the layout. Had a blast. Also eagled 12 with the new greens!!!

It would be 5 starts if not for holes 11, 12, 13 & 14. Overall the course is in great conditions but those 4 holes… I’m not sure what happened to the greens, truly terrible. The rest of the course is on great shape and the pace of play was overall good.

The staff at South Shore were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were absolutely amazing. The course itself was in excellent condition, they did an amazing job fixing the greens that were vandalized. The course was very well managed for a busy weekend. Overall an excellent experience will definitely be back!

My boyfriend came home very dissapointed today—frustrated, disrespected, and honestly questioning why he ever gave South Shore Golf Course his time or money in the first place. South Shore should be embarrassed by how they treat their most loyal customers. He’s been coming here for months—sometimes twice a day, multiple days in a row—spending serious money to play 36 holes a day every weekend. And today? He was told to “speed it up” after finishing a par 5. As a single golfer. By a manager patrolling the course like a wannabe cop instead of addressing the real issue: their own overbooking and…

Nice course. Was there for an outing, course was on good shape with the exception of the tee boxes. Most were bare with little to no grass. The banquet are was very nice, bright and clean and the food was very good.

Great experience all around. Easy smooth check in with Bart to a great starter in Bruno. Kept the pace of play throughout. Two or three holes in the back 9 were aerated. All else was great.

Nice course, maintenance needs some improvement. Some make-shift greens due to “neighborhood vandalism”.

6 hours for a round of 18....you can find a better course. Seems like they double booked a ton of tee times. Also, I find it funny they had tee times available all day online, but when went to play, the course was filled. Tread lightly

This course was fantastic. Clean and very well maintained. Jack In the shop was great really kind staff. Great course with relatively easy straight shots. Will come back

Course has 3 holes where the greens are destroyed but you’re still charged $80 to play… and It’s been like this for over a year. Much better off driving 30 minutes to jersey for a $60 round on a course 2x times nicer.

What an amazing experience—if you enjoy rude staff, poor organization, and a poorly maintained course, this place is perfect for you! We had an 8:45 tee time, but thanks to a golf club tournament, we were graciously delayed until 9:45. Then, to top it all off, players finishing their first nine holes were allowed to cut right in front of us.
