Very nice course in very good condition. The greens rolled well. There is several holes that had hog damage but it is coming back well. The layout is challenging with bunkering and water. Lots of doglegs and several blind shots. It demands more on accuracy over length. Very fun layout. The management was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The carts are new and well maintained. The facilities in super condition, clean. We enjoyed our time there and will certainly be back. Another great casino course.

Loved this course! The greens were in great shape and rolling fast. It has a fun layout with some interesting holes. I would say this course rewards accuracy more so than distance with all of the fairway bunkers, slope, and undulating greens. It was just the right amount of challenging to make it fun and not make you want to sell your clubs after the round. The pace of play was perfect. The course also has ice machines halfway through the front and back 9 and had ice chests all over with ice cold mango scented towels to cool you off. Definitely recommend playing here!

Absolutely beautiful! The practice facility is top tier, the greens don't even look real because of how perfect they are. The course is pretty difficult for the first round but with a knowledge of where to play the ball it could be very fun. The staff were all very friendly, and the arrowhead ball marker/souvenirs are very reasonably priced. I can honestly say that at 85$/round this is the best bang for my buck of any course in Louisiana.

Tamahka Trails Golf Club is one of the wonderful amenities at the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, LA, and believe me, this course has some bite. Tamahka Trails was designed by Lakeland, FL native Steve Smyers who took the natural contours of the property and created one of the best daily fee golf courses in Louisiana. Juniors, seniors, and ladies can move up to the Gold Tees and play the course from 4,370 yards while low handicappers and masochists can move back to the Black Tees and play from 7,019 yards. Par out here is 71. The golf course winds its way through 230 acres of rolling te…

Great course! The greens were very firm and fast. I loved the layout. The head pro, Kevin, was very nice. It’s a must play if you’re in the area!

Great course but I play all over the U. S. and it is the most expensive and I play on several nicer courses that are not. Courses range from $40 to $80. Maybe they could consider lowering to their cost.

I recently played 3 rounds at Tamahka. This course was so pure! Greens rolled smooth and fast. The bunkers had all been recently renovated and were nice. The fairways were all consistent and in great condition. Really nice putting green, chipping green, and driving range to warm up on. They had fancy new carts and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Only advice would be to play a tee forward, because it is a demanding track. I will definitely be playing Tamahka again soon.

Great layout and a wonderful challenge. The staff was awesome, and friendly. We got rained out after four holes the first day of a three-day golf trip and after visiting with the staff, we decided to come back the next day instead of going to our planned course. We made the right decision and will be back!

It's difficult but super nice! Well maintained! Great customer service! Well, worth a try. Better schedule at least 2 rounds! Getting used to the nuances of the course will take a round!

Staff was awesome. Course was great other than they were renovating the bunkers, would be a five star when they finish. Greens and fairways are perfect. Layout is great. They have some big boy par 3's and 4's. Looks like they are beginning to narrow the fairways as well. Little higher price point but range and all day play is included. Must play
