In summary

Springfield Oaks Golf Course is frequently praised for its beautiful layout, well-maintained fairways and greens, and friendly, accommodating staff. The course offers a scenic setting with changing elevations and a variety of challenging holes, making it appealing to golfers of all skill levels. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play, occasional management challenges, and limited amenities, such as the absence of a bar and limited food options.

The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the bar being closed still after a couple of years which could be made up of more than 1 food truck. The course was great and beautiful. Scenery was amazing especially when you get to the higher points and see above the tree line. Course is well maintained and staff is friendly as well as doing an amazing job.

Great layout. Beautiful course with fairways and greens well kept. Good for all levels of play. Definitely book ahead of time. This course is popular and will fill up fast. Great hut with food and drinks at the turn.

SPRINGFIELD OAKS Golf COURSE 👍👍👍 👍 👍 COURSE 👍 - course maintained good. fairway good so as green. Greens relatively small and many. Holes are nearby and need to watch out AMENITIES 👍- golf range area not there but small putting area there. Proshop has food and drinks and no beer cart girl in the course as well. STAFF and MANAGEMENT 👍 starter and other staff members doing great job. Good customer service VALUE for THE MONEY 👍- it's bit expensive $51+ with cart but relatively softer other near by PACE of the PLAY 👍 Pace of the play need to little improve but so far we don't have more than 5 hrs…

I have golfed at several golf courses this year and for sure one thing is they are all over charging for golf. But I did recently golf at Springfield Oaks Golf Course and WOW was I inpressed with the following: This Course it self was in Great Shape and we got to play for a fantastic price. The lady at the counter taking our money was extremely Nice and Friendly! This is for sure a beautiful place to Golf! Most courses today are charging a lot of money and I feel we are being taken advantage of. I don''t mine paying good money to play golf , but it would be nice if the course I'm playing and p…

Springfield oaks is a top tier golf course. The fairways were near perfect and the greens were like ice rinks. The walking carts were in great condition. Very challenging course and I plan on coming back here quite a bit in the future. Keep up the good work.

Had a fun round with a friend. Greens were an excellent speed and the fairways and rough were cut to a great length as well.

Let me start by saying I'm usually a huge fan of the Oakland and Livingston County parks . It's generous with a 1 star. Played today and took almost 6 hours. Went off 25 minutes late and ended up going off the back nine. Then when we made the turn, we're stuck behind a fivesome. Unreal , needs better management & will not be back!!

The course is afordable, well maintained, had nice fairways and a beautiful layout with the ponds and woods. They have recently planted over a dozen trees which are a nice addition to the course. This is a no frills course, but I always enjoy the golf here. There is a hot dog and beverage shack at the the turn, but not much in the clubhouse. The bathrooms are clean and well positioned throughout the course. The ASBE foundation does their annual outing here to raise money for their high school scholarships. The course does a nice job at accommodating the foundations needs. We are able to provid…

Aug 2, 2025 Saturday 8:00am tee time $52/cart Out of the way back in no man’s land but turned out to be a wonderful experience. Pro Shop staff quick and polite. Had a wonderful chat with the Starter who got me out a little earlier than my original 8:20am. Pair up with a 3some of roughly equal skill. Heavy dew on the course up until about 12th hole. Greens fast despite the water and didn’t play true to reading the breaks. Front 9 a little more open links style course while the back 9 is more narrow fairways and typical public layout playing up and back hole to hole. Food truck at the turn plus…

Course itself is nice and well maintained, however, this is the only course I've encountered that closes putting / chipping areas an hour and a half before darkness. Even worse, the old geyser in the clubhouse chased me out, was downright rude, and threatened to call the police twice. Horrible customer service!

Course is in great shape! Do NOT try and catch a quick game on Wednesday Morning/early afternoon. SLOW, slow play and ranger is not doing anything to speed up play.
