In summary

Indian Springs Metropark is praised for its beautiful course layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, offering a good value for the money. The park provides a variety of amenities, including a nature center, play area, and beach, making it appealing for both golfers and families. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, management issues, and inconsistent maintenance, particularly with the bunkers and course operations.

A beautiful metro part to go for a hike or bike ride at. Offering both paved and rustic dirt trails which are marked and well maintained. The staff at the nature center are very friendly and knowledgeable. There’s a nice outdoor play area for the kiddos to play and the beach is wonderful!!

Nice quiet park setting, great for walking, course in decent shape (they were re-sanding the traps) but some tee boxes were a little beat up, nothing fancy, good value $18 for senior walking 18 on a weekday but have to a pay park entrance fee (~$10), will play again

An absolute PRISTINE golf course. I was incredibly surprised with this course. I was expecting it to be decent but WOW. The quality is on par with some local country clubs in the area. This course is an extremely great value for the money. Definitely a hidden gem for those not local to this area.

Course is always kept up pretty well for how many leagues this course has. Nice driving range with grass tee boxes. Nice clubhouse with a pretty decent food menu. Expect some slow play. Golfers of all abilities come here. A fun track with challenges for everyone. Not a lot of water to hit over.

Had the pleasure of playing a solo round here! I must say, it is a great course! Everything was well groomed, greens were smooth and practice areas were a blast! The day was overcasted but that didn’t stop me having a great round! Most of the time I didn’t see a single person! The price was great! I paid around $46 for 18 with a cart, bucket of range balls and a souvenir ball! Not too shabby at all! Will definitely be back!

INDIAN SPRING METRO PARK GOLF COURSE WHITELAKE 👍👍👍 👍 👍 good metro park course in whitelake . COURSE 👍 - course maintained great. fairway good so as green. AMENITIES 👍- putting area is there but no range . Club has food and drinks. STAFF and MANAGEMENT 👍 starter and other staff members are awesome. VALUE for THE MONEY 👍- it's part of metro park and you have to pay park fee additional. PACE of the PLAY 👍 Pace of the play need to little improve as day progress but good overall

Better than most other local courses that charge a lot more. If over 55, go 5 times and get a free round. We'll maintained. Paid $32 for senior 18 holes during the week.

Absolutely Atrocious Experience – Save Your Time and Sanity If you’re looking for a way to ruin a perfectly good day, this is the golf course for you. Pace of play was glacial—think molasses in January. We waited on every single tee box, every shot, every green. I’ve seen DMV lines move faster than this. To make things worse, the course management apparently runs on a first-come, first-jump system. We watched multiple groups cut in at the turn like it was a Black Friday sale—no starter, no marshal, no accountability. Just chaos. When we brought it up, we got nothing but a shrug and a half-he…

The course is beautiful, the staff in the clubhouse are very friendly and the price is reasonable. However the course ranger me and my group encountered was extremely rude and disrespectful to his paying customers. Seeing as groups over four are generally frowned upon, we split into a group of four and a group of two, the starter said we can go ahead and play together if we can keep a reasonable pace. Halfway to the green, a ranger in a red cart (a guy in his 70s) came up to us and said we should already know what he was going to ask us, he explained if we play six again they’re going to ask u…

Turf was in nice shape. Players fix their ball marks. Grounds crew cars and does a nice job. Don't take the undulations on the greens lightly... they have some movement. Lovely Muni.

Indian Springs Golf Course continues to disappoint in ways that are hard to ignore. While the course itself has a beautiful layout with natural surroundings, the management and operations are falling short — especially compared to other Metropark courses. One of the biggest issues is the ongoing favoritism toward local regulars. If you're not a familiar face, don't expect fair treatment. Groups are getting reshuffled so the regulars can go off early or skip ahead, even if you booked your tee time in advance and arrived on time. Paying customers deserve equal treatment — not to be pushed aside…
