St. Joseph Country Club

Always a great place for a round or two of golf. Great membership prices too and conveniently located to St. Joseph. Kansas City and NW Missouri. The food and venue (Meeting and Banquet) space is great with several places inside and out for great pictures. This is the optimal place for banquets, weddings, proms, and other meetings. A+

Review is for the fitness center only. It is in a state of disrepair and last time I was there smelled like septic backup. Of the strider ellipticals the resistance works on one. The resistance equipment is not maintained. The treadmills generally work but are missing parts. There is no access to select entertainment but the WiFi is included so you can use your own device. Uptown Productions DJ Service had the pleasure of deejaying a wedding reception last Saturday night at the St. Joseph Country Club. We were in awe of all the upgrades to the building. The staff were all very kind, friendly and professional. Dinner was absolutely amazing and the chef was so kind. The new lighted dance floor gave a beautiful and elegant touch to the evening. We want to sincerely thank Elizabeth for giving us the opportunity to deejay at this beautiful venue. We had the most amazing time and experience. the pool is neglected. please make sure the pool is clean, the heaters are working, please upgrade the pool chairs/loungers, and please eventually upgrade the bathrooms. i have gone here since i was a kid and have had so many fond memories. i want the pool to be a nice and enjoyable place. i’d be happy to help shop for these upgrades. once pool is up kept well i will gladly give 5 stars. thank you!

Went for a a company dinner. The chef there is amazing and makes the best dishes. Great hospitality. If you are thinking of having a wedding there, I recommend to visit and ask to see where the bride and her bridesmaids get ready. It is absolutely stunning.

This is becoming a Top Rate Club... Starting with a mature course layout, the current owners are refining it into a tournament quality venue. Complete with an upgraded practice area and putting green. Sonia and April have been awesome with our family's transition into the club. Membership DOES have it's priviledges!

My parents belonged to this country club. I grew up playing golf, swimming here, and I remember Thursday night chicken dinners. My rehearsal dinner and wedding reception were held here...we attended Christmas and New Year's party's here. It's still a gorgeous club, and the Midwest's most beautiful golf course!

Best food in town. Love my membership. I eat at the country club every weekend!

I enjoy the gym and the employees are incredibly kind. The biggest issues I have are other members being extremely lazy and refusing to pick up after themselves, especially in the weight room. Also, there are some members that complain about every little thing. My advice, go later in the evening if you want to work out without the hassle of whiney, rich people that think everything should be done for them.

The ongoing investment in Clubhouse amenities since this historically significant and traditionally private member-operated course became part of Great Life is phenomenal. Very well done and they put on a fantastic fireworks show each 4th of July eve.
