In summary

Fairview Golf Course is frequently praised for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly, accommodating staff. The course offers a good value for regular players and provides a welcoming environment for families and events. However, some visitors have noted issues with maintenance practices, such as the need for more frequent mowing and occasional unprofessional behavior from staff, as well as a slow pace of play due to large groups.

It is a nice city course and doesn’t break the bank if you golf every weekend throughout the summer. Staff has always been extremely nice and helpful. Played in two tournaments their last year and both where run very proficient and went smooth.

My first time golfing here. I don't know if it is normally like this, but they need to mow real bad. I'm talking about the fairways not just the rough. Greens were nice! Somewhat challenging layout for someone who golfs 15-20 times a year @ mostly same courses. Will golf here again next year, probably.

Course was nice, slow play, there were multiple groups with 5 plus people per group up to 8 people. Very narrow, tons of trees and water hazards that will ruin your ball count in your bag. Fairly full bar, no cart girl so definitely grab at drink at 1 and then at the turn. We'd definitely play this one again.

This is a very well maintained public golf course and very challenging. You contend with different elevations and water. I only got in 9 holes this time, but plan on going back for the full course. Club house has what you need. Golf carts are going to be upgraded next year 2026, with course gps. Worth the play.

The course itself was in good shape and was fun to play. Price is great. However the maintenance team has no golf etiquette whatsoever. In one hole he continued mowing all around the tee box as we were teeing off. We eventually skipped the hole because he would t stop or shut off the mower.

Good Local Public Course. Unfortunately, the tee times are kind of sporadic but it's not a huge deal. The Marshalls are very good about keeping everyone in line so that you aren't waiting for too long either way. The greens are nice, can't decide between fast and slow. Fairways good, kind of littered with random balls. All and all good local course and very fairly priced and nothing there is overpriced.

My friend and I went to enjoy a round of golf. Everything was fine until this old guy was a total jerk. The moment he saw he kept staring hard and mean. Anytime he spoke to us he was rude. I finally get a golf cart, while I was putting my clubs on and getting my stuff ready. I look over and he’s just glaring. I realized we are still a little too early for our tee off time, so we decided to wait a bit on the cart. We’re waiting a couple minutes then the old guy barked “GO!” I said “my tee time isn’t for a bit but I guess I’ll go.” (There were other people talking and hangout there too so I thou…

Went for a small baby shower in their banquet room, facilities seemed pretty decent and the banquet room was nice and spacious. Restrooms in good condition. Property seemed to be maintained decently from what I saw. Prices all posted as you walk in, balls for sale both used and new.

Very nice course, especially for visiting St. Joseph! Hilly terrain and only a few water hazards. The staff was good at accommodating our group of 8 on the weekend. And it's always a plus selling beer with portable coolers for the course! The help of the staff helped make this a good ranking.

Nice course, I play a bunch of courses in the St joseph area and this is my favorite. It's got some easy par 4s with some challenging 3s and 5s. Hole 17 is great, it's best to lay up but comming out of your shoes is always fun too.

I'm a truck driver waiting on load ,if you have time have to this course ,greens are ecilent shape ,course make you work the ball right or left off the tee ,I played from the very back tees ,shot a 81 with a double , not bad for time playing , iron shot are tricky you have include elevation on all approach shots, greens are rolling true , staff are very nice and helpful ,will go again, now that I know the course maybe can do better. ,

Mid to low quality course, guy behind the counter made my girlfriend very uncomfortable with his staring. Employees are very unprofessional both here and at the course in Savannah. (Owned by the same people) either save your money and play the par 3 off 69 or spend a little more and hit the country club.
