In summary

Moila Country Club is appreciated for its well-maintained golf course, beautiful setting, and friendly staff, making it a popular venue for events and family gatherings. Guests often enjoy the food and overall atmosphere, particularly during events like weddings and parties. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the high cost of playing golf, organizational issues during events, and the slow pace of play due to large groups on the course.

Great job in reviving the course! Played there in June, and so much improved over the last couple years. Thanks for saving it!

I haven't been here since I was a child swimming in their pool when my grandparents took us there swimming. We were there for a wedding this evening. The food was wonderful. The staff was amazing and so helpful, and the place looked amazing! Thank you for the wonderful time tonight!

drove past have been to various events in my life. 40 years ago the Pony Express Council Boy Scouts had there annual Eagle Scout banquet for those who had earned their badges during the previous year, And, my daughter had her wedding there 10 years ago. The buildings and rooms show their age being built 50 to 75 years ago. And, the rooms are large and painted walls with concrete floors some with carpet and others with tiles on the floor. The golf course seems to look nicely kept.

Great location, just a bit disorganized. We had booked Moila about a year before our wedding and in that time the caterer changed and they were unable to keep some of the promises they made a year prior. Cindy was thrown into the role of wedding coordinator for us and did a fabulous job with what she had to work with. On the day our wedding, there was a few miscommunications that led to us to not having a good place to change and also being on the wrong part of the golf course at the wrong time. It appeared that everything went off without a hitch during the actual reception though. Overall it…

Very average golf course with an absolutely ridiculous price to play. Not at all worth the money. Go to small town Duncan Hills in Savannah a few miles outside St Joe, pay a fraction of the price for an even better course.

Not sure what they are trying to do here at this club. I just got told a public tee time would be 77 bucks. You can play the top rated public courses in the metro for 50 bucks. I guess they are just trying to keep some people out. I drive by this course all the time and I never see anyone actually playing golf. I’m confused how this place stays open and makes money. They would get tons of business in the St. Joseph community if they charged 30-35 bucks.

Golf course is in mediocre shape, with the best feature being the mature trees that line every hole. Takes away from the fun when the shop allows a 5-some of 80-ish players who are all walking, making for a 5-hour round on a very shorr course. Won't be back.

The weather has been helping out the course alot. With all the rain the fairways are green. The rain has slowed the cutting down some but that's to be expected. As always I wish there were two separate rough cut heights. Can beat the GreatLife price to play this course.

Another "Great Life" bomb went off here....definitely could see that coming. Hate to see them take over anything. Very sad to see the golf course in the condition it's in. Grew up playing there in its hey day.

Course is great, be better if large groups of below average older gentlemen would speed up or let others play through!
