In summary

Sugar Creek Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained condition, beginner-friendly layout, and courteous staff, making it a popular choice for both new and seasoned golfers. The course offers a driving range and practice facilities, though some find the practice putting green challenging. However, there are occasional concerns about customer service, tee time management, and limited food and beverage options, with some visitors noting issues with pace of play and booking processes.

My first time golfing on a proper course. We booked it through Golf Now. Check-in was a breeze and the guy at the desk was very helpful and courteous. It was a great course for me as a beginner. I didn’t feel intimated at all and even learned a few tips to improve my game. It was a great experience and I had a wonderful time.

Great little course! Service is top notch! Even scrounged me up a snack even though they didn’t have any yet (rare nice day in mid March). We’ll be back!!

Good golf course for beginners and golf pros are like. A good driving range and good golf course that isn’t too challenging but can still provide a nice experience for golfers of all ages. It is kept up pretty well and it is very hard to find a better local golf course to Play. Unfortunately their bar and food place is not open very often, but they sell a variety of drinks such as bottled water or Gatorade. Also have a basic pro shop with golf balls, tees, and other things like that.

I went today with my husband, mom and her partner (4 total people), the course itself is beautiful but we intentionally got the last tee time because my mother and her partner do not know how to golf. It’s a good place for more professional, fast pace golfers. Definitely not for beginners, the workers came around rushing us and telling us to go to the next hole instead of completing the one we were on. Super frustrating for the price and they charged us for double the carts when they were included in the price. Total money scam and super rude telling us to leave the first hole when we just tee…

Course is very well kept and all you need to work on all parts of your game. Pace could be better but that's expected for a more beginner friendly course with no usual starter.

Course is always in pretty good condition. No par 5’s but still good length on most holes. Great place to get a last minute tee time if you’re nearby.

Course is in fantastic shape country club type shape. So I was impressed with that. However I had a 4:00 tea time as a single and called to move it to 410 as a twosome. Took them 3 hours to listen to the voicemail. House of called back several times to try to get somebody live on the phone. It's disappointing that you can't speak to people anymore. It all worked out as I showed up with my friend and indeed we were able to go out at 4:10 but that's beside the point. Have better customer service

Have golfed here many times. Used to be a great course, but just not worth it anymore. No more pull carts, no perks for residents, recently wasn’t allowed on the course due to weather, was told that they can’t give out a rain check and can only leave a note for the manager to possibly get a refund within 4 days, but no guarantee. Don’t bother calling them if need be because they never answer their phone. Hate to see a local place like this go downhill because they really do have nice facilities, just poor management.

The course after the renovation is really well done! Now that we’ve had some good rain, pretty much all of the grass is grown in and the course is in really good shape. Before coming, do set your expectations- it is a par 32 executive course. You really don’t need driver for more than 1-2 holes. The course is really easy to walk. Set aside about 2 hours for a round of 9. A couple cons, but not enough to knock a star - the driving range is downhill, so yardages may be slightly inflated. There is a net at about 200, so you don’t get full run out of a long drive, but you do get the satisfaction o…
