Sunflower Hills Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, challenging layout with rolling hills, and friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors appreciate the reasonable pricing and the availability of amenities like GPS-equipped carts. A beautiful golf course and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's always a pleasure to see how much they care for this place and how nice the prices are.

Very nice course the greens were in great shape and for a Friday evening they were not to busy. The carts were in great shape. Had a good time playing here

Played here for the first time in about 20 years and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the course was maintained. Customer service inside was fantastic. The clubhouse is a little bit older, but has all the needs for golfers. For Midsomer this is in great shape.

Course was in good condition. Service was good in clubhouse. Lots of hills and interesting holes! Golf ball hitting range off the mats only today. Couple holes that are spaced out between green and tee and so are quite the walk between them.

Despite advertising as “ family friendly “ and open to all ages, they are the furthest from it. My son has been golfing since age 3, last fall this course asked my partner and son to leave and said kids were not allowed. We emailed back and forth, called the county and despite being promised a resolution we did not get one. This is the ONLY golf course in the surrounding KC area we’ve had any issues with. The management is rude, condescending and only care about their buddies. It’s heartbreaking as this was my son’s favorite course. My partner, his brothers and all their friends now take their…

The course is in great shape, greens are excellent, fairways really good, pace of play is good and plan on 4.5 hours, and the people are great. Clubhouse is in dire straits and needs replacing.

Not one of my favorites, but this course is decent. Fairways and greens are kept well. Ball placement is key due to some sloped holes. Still price well for 18 holes. I'm sure I'll play again in the future.

One of the best public tracks in KC. Surprising amount of terrain with plenty of rolling hills. The course is in great shape and the greens can be rolling extremely quick. It is a quality challenge for all levels, just choose your tees wisely.

Had a great deal, round of golf and cart for $20! This course is a gem, really challenging holes. The back nine has a lot of water and is really fun. Carts are some of the best I've driven, nice power. Greens have some patch work, but still nice. Good upkeep. Enjoy!

Had a fun round here. Overall course was in good condition. Several holes have some manner of water hazard and many hills with a few challenging holes for sure. Best points are the wide variety of holes and not too expensive. Only things keeping it from 5 starts was a good amount of debris on the greens with some worn/patched areas and a propensity of left hand bends & dog-legs of various degree with only 3 slight right hands overall. Staff were friendly even when busy. My favorite hole was 16, par 3 (229) with water and elevated larger green. Most challenging was 6, par 5 (551) with hidden g…

What a great course in the Kansas City area. Would have happily gave a 5 star except for one thing: greens were way to fast. It rained the day before so you would have thought there would be some slower pace. Not the case. But they were in great condition. Fairways are zoysia so they are incredible. Rough is fescue but not to deep and tee boxes and entire course setup is great. Very scoreable holes on some par 4s. Just a great set up. GPS on carts. Great staff. Clubhouse is old , could use a new facility to really enhance this place. Located near the speedway in Kansas City so there’s plenty t…
