In summary

Sycamore Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly and attentive staff, and excellent value for the price. The layout is described as straightforward and enjoyable, with some players appreciating the more exciting back nine. However, a few visitors have noted issues with flooding after rain, navigation challenges around the course, and occasional staff rudeness. Despite these concerns, the overall experience is positive, with many highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and quality amenities.

One of my favorite courses! The cart girl, bartender and Paul made our round one to remember. They treated us so well we did not want to leave. I will always recommend Sycamore to anyone! Thanks for an amazing experience as always

Hidden gem in sycamore. Affordable, friendly accomadting space! We just rented out the clubhouse for a celebration of Life and I cannot recommend this place enough! Our host/bartender Julie was amazing. She helped us through the whole event. Very attentive, personable, friendly staff. She went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was a success. We had many compliments about the space and staff. Definitely using this space again.

Fun golf course with a really laidback environment. The grounds are nice but they flood really easily so be sure to check the weather before you book a tee time. This is a public course so there aren’t very many rules about dress code which is nice. The club house is clean and professional. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Good golf course with lots of straight holes and minimal water hazards. Have played here twice and have not had any problems.

good golf course; horribly rude woman named missy or something made me want to refund my round. i was excited to play this course for the first time but upon running into her to grab a drink and continue my round she was so very mean to me and over (incorrectly) charged me for my drink. probably will not return. good course and everyone else seemed nice!

This is a well kept and beautiful course. Very straight and not terribly difficult. Wide fairways and excellent greens. But still challenging, fun to play.

Course was in phenomenal shape in early April, couldn't believe it! I'll definitely be back to enjoy excellent course conditions, staff, and overall peaceful environment.

For a park district ran course, you won't find a better value for the price. You can regularly get 18 riding on weekdays had for less than $25 if you search online. Weekends are about $30 ( I usually get them on teeoff for $23). Extremely well kept fairways, no weeds anywhere. Greens are excellent and not that easy to read. Course layout is a bit bland for the front 9, back nine is a bit more exciting. No cart lady but I could care less. Halfway house has a good drink selection, not so much for food. For sub $30 any day of the week. You simply can't beat the qaullty for this price. Back 9 is a…

Nice course. Be watchful of other holes, close balls coming onto our fairway.

I really enjoy this course. It’s simple and open, so you won’t lose many, if any, balls. Very polite staff and the fairways/greens have been in good condition every time i’ve went.
