Whisper Creek Golf Club

This is such a beautiful course for all levels of golfers! The check in process is very smooth and the staff is super nice! They helped me with everything I needed. I started on the practice range and then played 9 holes and each one was just the right balance of challenge and fun. I’m excited to go there again soon!

Wonderful track to play on in McHenry County. One of the longest courses in the area with a 7,100+ yardage from the tips. Definitely a course worth checking out if you are looking for a challenge. New owners seem to be actively working on improvements to the sand traps. Very friendly staff and the course has brand new golf carts with GPS.

Whisper Creek has really impressed me. The course is long and challenging but super fun, every hole keeps you on your toes! It’s in great shape right now, and you can tell the new ownership is putting a lot of effort into making improvements. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier; they made our outing feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Between the layout, the conditions, and the overall vibe, this is definitely one of the best golf spots around Huntley. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Finally got to play whisper creek over the weekend! The fairways and greens are in great shape even with being in the tail end of the season. Course layout is great for all levels with fun and challenging holes. Staff is super friendly and accommodating as well. Definitely worth checking out before the end of the season!

I came across this Golf Club while on a business trip to Algonquin, IL. My colleagues wanted to squeeze in a round before we headed back. The Pro shop staff was so help and accommodating. We were able to get a mid morning tee for a threesome. The course was in beautiful condition. I played from the Pine Tee box and it was fun and challenging. As we rolled off the front nine, we were able to grab a quick lunch at Caspers Cafe: how can you beat a Bratwurst and an ice cold Stella. Hole 15 ( Par 5) was a doozy. Now, I want to play this course again on my next trip back. Stay tuned

Course has always had an outstanding layout!!! And still does! With the New Owners taking over they are and have already starting pouring money into it and making it one of the best courses in Illinois again!!! Customer service and vibe is ELITE!! Get out there again, strongly advise!

Played Whisper Creek the other day — place is legit. You can tell the new owners are putting some real work in, course is looking way better than it used to. Layout’s awesome, staff was super chill, and it’s long enough to bomb a few drives lol. Honestly just a fun track all around. Definitely gonna be back.

Amazing course lay out. In great shape even in late October. Rangers and club house very friendly and great food at the halfway house. The famous Jameson restaurant is amazing . Had freshly grilled chicken burger which was delicious. Will definitely come back.

Played here over the weekend with some friends, and we had a great time. The course was in excellent condition with well-maintained turf throughout. It was the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting yet welcoming for a novice like me.

Had such a great time with friends at Whisper Creek. Was pleasantly surprised by how long each of the holes were… and the smart golf carts were fun! Would play here again.

Got the chance to play Whisper Creek this past weekend, and it didn’t disappoint! The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, especially for this late in the season. The layout offers a great mix of fun and challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making the experience even better. Definitely recommend getting a round in before the season wraps up!
