Tam O Shanter Golf Course

Played a late afternoon 9 with my uncle. We had a lot of fun. The weather was great and I played a little better than normal. Tam was in solid shape. The greens were rolling well. The staff was friendly as always. Will definitely play there again soon.

Tam is a lovely 9 hole for amateur golfer or pro. Don't forget to eat at Howard Street Inn next door ... also great wild life and pictures.

Great local course to catch a quick 9 during the week. Nice conditions and the folks at the clubhouse and bar are nice. Cool throwback course. I knocked a star off because of the marshal. I've played multiple rounds in an hour and fifteen or so with no groups ahead or behind and been told to speed it up. This is playing ready golf as a single, not losing any balls, not dropping any extra balls to practice. Does he expect me to sprint to my ball between shots? That's the only way I could be playing faster.

My wife who’s never played golf before was at an outing here and harassed by the rangers almost every hole to keep moving. They had nowhere to go because golfers were in front of them. They kept telling them to skip a hole because they had a high school match behind their outing. The Ranger Rick’s need to show respect to new woman golfers. What a joke! What a bunch of Bully’s. Completely ruined a first time golfers experience. The group said they’ll never be back.

For a 9-hole course it was exceptionally well taken care of. Friendly staff and great service. Bar and restaurant was great as well!

Always a great place for golf and a great place to get a nice 9 hole round in plus they have howard street there as well! It's an awesome place if u like golf, food and of course some drinking! They are always friendly and make sure everything is going on pace!

I almost don't want to give 5 stars because I dont want it to be more crowded but this was the best 9 hole course I've played in the area for sure

This golf course is a typical neighborhood 9-hole course. The grass was in decent condition, and although it was quite crowded, requiring us to play a bit quickly, the overall experience wasn’t bad. However, the clubs provided were in such poor condition that it was nearly impossible to play properly.

I've been here again after a year... It's that time of the year when we have the Christmas party with the company. It's a nice place, relaxed atmosphere with your regulars I guess that come frequently and know each other. The servers are polite and friendly and make you feel home. The food is great, pizza, wings, quesadilla, salads and probably more but I only tasted those. If you go there, enjoy :-)
