In summary

Teal Bend Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, scenic layout, and friendly, helpful staff. Many visitors appreciate the challenging course design and the abundance of wildlife, contributing to a pleasant golfing experience. However, some players have noted issues with the driving range conditions and occasional slow pace of play, while a few have experienced less welcoming interactions with the marshals.

I really like this course, well layed out. Lots of shade, some water and probably the only short coming is it's pretty flat (not much ups and downs). Plenty of curves and nice greens though. It's close enough to Sacramento that it's pretty busy all day and it wasn't too hot the day we played ( early September 10:20 tee time) it's the first time that I've had the marshals around giving us updates on how slow we were playing and the suggested times are on the score cards, they were nice about it and keeping us duffers moving 🫣 quail, coyote turkey, and deer . All three of us cleared the water at…

Really fun, challenging course but the best part was the people who work here. We got stuck behind a 50 person tournament and Melanie (I think?) who was operating the drink cart and the marshal, Dave, made the back half of the round so smooth. Really nice folks who excel at what they do. I’ll definitely be back.

Really fun course, well kept fairways and greens. Carts are a little dated but they do the job. Greens are pretty challenging with alot of undulations.

Was in town for business and needed to get a round of golf in. The guy at the pro shop was extremely helpful and made sure the course was clear so I could get a quick 18 in. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The sand traps were well manicured and the golf course had a very peaceful feel. I was surprised by the amount of wildlife. Endless turkeys and saw a few deer. I would suggest golfing a twilight round as the sunset compliments this course well. I hope to return to this place in the future. A+ experience.

I need to thank the management for the change. I have played Teal Bend several times annually for over a decade, but it has been three to four months since my last visit. This trip was a pleasant surprise. - the fairways were in good shape - most of the tee boxes were in very good shape (a few need some attention) - the greens were in great shape - the big thing is the mowed rough - it was long enough to provide the necessary challenge but short enough not to lose a ball The people process and pro shop were good and helpful as usual. The restaurant was yummy as well (the chicken wrap was grea…

Staff was great, and course was in good condition. Whoever set the pins on the greens that day was cruel. There wasn't a straight putt to be had. Im taking off one star for the driving range. Not a blade of grass to hit off of, it was all mud. At least put some matts out there.

We played a Tournament and the course was in great shape. Fast greens and nice water features. Hot dogs at the turn were good quality and friendly staff.

Fun course, tricky greens. Course pretty dry and tee boxes could use some TLC.

Course was in good condition, didn't know they had aerated, so some greens were a bit sandy. 1st hole had a strange wooden golfer around the 150 yd marker. A bit distracting when you're teeing off, but unique!

Get practice facilities. No frost delay! They just stick to cart path only till 9 am. Greens rolling nice and bunkers in good condition. Just with the PUBLIC players be more courteous and rake the bunker. Walking rates too!
