In summary

Terra Verde Golf Course receives mixed feedback from visitors. While some appreciate the friendly staff and well-maintained greens, others criticize the course for its poor condition, particularly the dry fairways and greens, and find the pricing to be high for the quality offered. Additionally, there are frequent complaints about slow pace of play and overcrowding, leading to long wait times on the course.

Great course. Family owned. They work hard to keep course looking good. Even when mother nature throws a slice. Jordyn and crew are out all season working on thing and show up as early as 3AM.

Im going to try to be constructive here. I paid $27 to walk 9 holes which is brutal for the condition of the course. Staff is friendly but the course needs work. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens should be in far better shape for the price. The property has so much potential but is severely under maintained. Save your money and play oak ridge

Traveling from Indiana to visit family and my brother and I golfed here. The golf course is beautiful and kept up so nice. The staff was great! We will def go back when we’re in town. Thank you for a great day!

I nearly didn’t come here because of the Google reviews. And you know what, I hope you stay away. It’s amazingly nice how quiet it is. The staff is great - thank you! The ground crew - great talking to you for a few minutes to see how your day is - you’re great people. The greens - incredible. It’s so refreshing to be at a course to relax and have fun. So all bad reviewers, keep posting - because the more you hate it, the more I can play it without a problem.

I don’t think I’ll ever come back. 11:15 tee time, didn’t tee off until 12:00 because of how many groups were waiting on the first tee. They don’t know how to space groups out and pack you all in like sardines. Most of the land is burnt up and brown instead of green. It would make sense if it was a $20 course but no it’s almost $40 for a 9 hole round. 3 groups waiting at every tee box. Expected a lot more. Outrageous.

Well, it is a golf course. That’s where the pride ends. Carts that shut off automatically inside where the course is charted. Two rangers hovering incessantly like hawks. But the best part? The absolutely parched fairways appear so thirsty that in one instance, a clump of grass on Hole 7 asked me to call CPS. Complete disaster of a course. Will never be back and that’s sad because this place used to be decent.

1st time play 9/26/25, and I was nervous from the reviews I read. I enjoyed the course quite a bit. It was actually very relaxed. Staff was great and didnt think it was expensive at all for 18. The course itself is another story. Fairways and drives were fine. The greens weren't great. They were dimpled from being aerated. Some edges of green were just plain dirt. Made it very difficult to judge your putt. The only other thing was the design of some holes had the Tee box for the next hole right next to the green. This made your short shot to the green a little nerve-wracking. Especially for mo…

To be quite honest, this was one of the finest and best kept golf courses I've ever been on. The greens and the grounds are all very nicely managed and provided a very enjoyable golf experience. I played the front 9, but I will definitely be returning to play the back 9 very soon, and I will continue to visit this course going forward. The staff was very professional and very polite, and very enjoyable to speak with. Terra Verde has a nice bar with a comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices. The golf carts are all very nice and very clean, and are all equipped with one of the better GPS ta…

Terra verde means green earth. However don’t expect to find that here at the golf course. They must have broken sprinklers since it is mostly dead grass versus grass. Photo is a generous photo of the 9th hole green

Course was very wet but looks like they’re trying to improve it. It was Sunday before Memorial Day, no senior rate and holiday rate. The fee was $39.00 each $78.00 for nine holes. Was not told the very high price when called for tee time. Not sure how they sleep at night. Way too much for senior to enjoy. Not sure we will go back.

Course was fun. Greens were kinda brutal, but no big deal. They sell candy bars at the front which is way cool. They also have chips and extra tees for purchase. The pencil in the cart was sorta dull, but other than that, a nice course!

I booked a teatime for my wife and me, but there was never any mention of being paired with anyone until we arrived. I know places are booked with others; I get it! Could you give us a heads up? I don’t want to golf with a stranger... the worst part is, what if they’re terrible? What if i suck...so many factors .....pass communication always ask your guest if they are ok with pairing up with others..
