I hadn’t played here since last year, because the back 9 greens were almost unplayable. I’m pleased to say today was a complete 180, including bunkers. I played my way into several, and with the exception of standing water in the back bunker on the par 3 15th, they were great! From the shave kits, combs, bandaids, compressed air to clean your spikes, and other niceties typically limited to private clubs, it’s obvious Brickshire is committed to providing a top tier golfing experience at a mid tier price. Hats off to their team!

I called to make a takeout order, the man that answered immediately had an attitude. I started to make my order based on the menu online on your website (via your Facebook page here) and he immediately raised his voice becoming condescending and indignant saying "THIS IS BRICKSHIRE WE AIN'T GOT THAT HERE." I mentioned that I was on their website pulling their menu from there. after becoming argumentative with me when I was just mentioning the discrepancy so you all were aware he said that your business knows the menu online is outdated. After he read back my order to me I just got hung up on.…

Incredibly happy with my experience here. Played a beautiful twilight round. Course was pure, great clubhouse, friendly staff. Some challenging par 5s but the short par 4s created other scoring opportunities. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this course very challenging but fair. In Immaculate shape late August in Richmond challenging to say the least. Tea boxes Fairways and greens were exceptional. Course layout is very unique and challenging offering a lot of different elevation changes and links style golf. Course also has brand new Yamaha cards which have ball cleaner and Club head cleaners on them, nice rides! Cart paths are also concrete and very well maintained. Green fees are $64 with card and you would never want to walk this course! Very fair price for what you're getting. There is no water on this cours…

Played on October 10th, 2024. Challenging course, very nice conditions on the fairways. Visually beautiful course it seemed like every fairway had water, sand and rolling hills. There were some roaming deer and wild turkeys in the brush. After our round of golf we enjoyed a cold beverage and burgers in the club house. I highly recommend you try Brickshire Providence forge Virginia golf course for your next outing.

Great course. We drove down from PA and found this gem on Golf Now. Neat layout, fantastic conditions and a friendly staff. Big thanks to the head pro Bill and Caroline May be the friendliest cart girl ever.

Really nice course and friendly people. Had a great time. Plays long, I would club up on most approach shots

10/5/25 The last time I played this course - maybe 2 years ago - the greens were over run with weeds and bald / burns. I quit playing here it was so bad. As of today the greens are nearly perfect. There are very few small spots hit or miss. You could complain if you need to, but this course is in great shape and steadily improving. My single complaint is the bunkers, however - it's clear the maintenance crews are moving forward with improvements.

Fun layout and fair for all level of handicaps (depending on tee selection). Greens can be slow and bunkers are just hard pan clay with lots of rocks although tees and fairways were in good condition especially considering central Virginia heatwave. Pretty typical "semi-private" (i.e. public) course experience and reasonable cost to play.

The grill isn't that great. Ordered fish and chips, fish and fries were fried too long. Fries weren't edible, fish breading was extremely hard. Hours are not convenient at all. Would not recommend.
