In summary

The Homestead at Wolf Ridge is frequently praised for its beautiful course layout, challenging holes, and well-maintained conditions, even though some areas can become soggy or dry depending on the weather. The staff is noted for their friendliness and accommodating nature, contributing to an overall positive experience. While the course is generally well-regarded, some visitors have mentioned slow greens and occasional issues with bunkers, as well as a preference for using carts due to the hilly terrain.

Had a wonderful time and experience, played with a father and son. Never played here but there wasn't a boring tee shot to hit, everything suites the eye from the blue tee, prob even better from the tips. Great value, staff were very friendly along with older regular members. Highly recommend playing here. Conditions were super dry but only due to mother nature. Would love to come back when there isn't a drought, just 3 hours away. Will 100% be coming back to play

I have played here twice while staying at a cottage nearby. The course is a hidden gem. The times that I have been, it's been busy but also less busy and both times the experience was enjoyable. (Marshall, speed of play, accommodations for our group etc) course is well maintained and course design is great . Lots of variety. 11/10 for a course out in the middle of cottage country. At a great price too!

I play this course every time I'm up at the cottage in Round Lake. The course has a great layout with some very interesting holes. It's a challenging walk, especially the front nine, but it's well worth it for some of the views of the valley, especially in the fall. There have been some conditioning challenges over the years, but the course was in very good shape my last few visits, with a few soggy spots due to all the rain they've had this summer. The staff are very accommodating; they were always able to find me a tee time as a single. Warwick and Rose are friendly and great to deal with.

We really enjoyed playing this course. We played 3 times while on vacation and the course is challenging but very fair. The course is dried out now that it is mid July but is very playable and the roll is great. We will go back as soon as we are in the area again. Great sand traps and very good greens. Loved it Loved it Loved it.

We came here (from Ottawa) to visit friends. We loved this course. It is a hilly course so would recommend a cart (unless you're in great shape). The course was pretty and in great condition. I'd like to come back.
