In summary

Roanoke Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it an enjoyable experience for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course layout, featuring a mix of distances and doglegs, is appreciated by many players. However, some visitors have noted issues such as occasional wet conditions, outdated facilities, and inconsistent staff interactions, particularly with younger golfers.

Very wet golf course. When we were there, there wasn't a beer cart going around. Overall not a bad course. But, it needs to upgrading/updating and repairs.

We booked this last minute by phone, and that was the start of a GREAT experience. It was a HOT day, and so the course was busy first thing, but the staff was all so courteous and friendly!! And everyone on the course was patient and courteous. I LOVED the course!! Lots of dog legs left and a great mix of distances. I have never enjoyed a round of 18 SO much! Clearly, I would highly recommend this course, and I can't wait for a trip to come back!!

Played the back 9, fairways and greens were in great shape. I am a no pro by any means, but I enjoyed the course.

As a young man (22) just starting to enjoy the game of golf, I find it extremely difficult to want to support this golf course. After playing here for the second time this year, I already do not want to return. Respectfully, one staff member in particular always seems to be moody and is very rude with younger people. Although my group has proved themselves to be mature and respectful time and time again, I am extremely tired of being labeled. Personally, I find it sad a course only three minutes away has turned off so many young people from wanting to play here. As a result, I will happily be…

If you haven't played a round here in a while it's definitely worth it. I played here years back, when i was in the military getting passes from the Jr. Ranks, at that time the course wasn't in the greatest shape but most of us didn't care we weren't very serious about golf. Since then I have had an opportunity to play multiple rounds here. The conditions are night and day better than 10 years ago and everything is well maintained.

Been 3 years since I played and its definitely in better shape and condition than when I left. It had notoriously dry, terrible fairways and was basically the course people got wasted at because you didnt need a tee time. Course is in great shape and the fairways were clean and soft, greens were in great shape and I really enjoyed my round. Good course that makes you put the driver away for the most part, whoever placed some of the hole locations is a sadist though. But ill be back soon for sure.

Not a bad course at all. Plenty of dog legs to get you using your irons. Our cart died on the 7th hole which was a huge pain. Greens are in good condition.

Fun, simple course that is perfect for beginners or those who do not want to stress about losing golf balls. Everyone is friendly and prices are extremely fair! In great condition!

Good course for the price. People act like they play on PGA courses and will call on Rookies.

Conditions were quite dry and fairways weren't the most playable, but still a nice course. Well laid out with friendly staff
