In summary

The Woodlands Golf & Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, challenging course layout, and reasonable pricing, with some visitors highlighting the excellent condition of the greens and the welcoming atmosphere. However, there are concerns about the overall course maintenance, including issues with the fairways, rough, and range balls, as well as occasional slow pace of play. While some find the amenities and dining experiences enjoyable, others have noted dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the club's management and membership policies.

Had a fabulous time there twice this past week. Went to dinner one night at the clubhouse and participated in a glow golf event another night. The people are super friendly and fun and the food was great!

I’m giving him one star because they have the audacity to charge $20 for garbage range balls and for one hour. Only this course standards are extremely low. The greens are terrible. The fairways are rock hard but the layout is cool to charge $20 for range balls is a rip off. They should be ashamed of themselves. Anyways, I scored 73 here but this place still sucks

The tee boxes, fairways, green are in pretty good shape. The problem here is that the rough is really long and flimsy. Any shot that barely misses the fairway or barely misses the green will be lost. The entire group will spend three minutes looking for it. You will then drop your shot hit the ball and as you walk off the green, you will then find your ball. Each person in our group lost eight balls today all of which were barely off the green or barely off the fairway and . If you’re trying to shoot a good score, you can’t because you keep having to have penalty drops. If you’re not very good…

Course is in good shape. Most of the greens were near perfect and for a reasonable fee the public can play. Course can be challenging too. Always fun though

Fun course and in decent shape. Few dry and burnt spots, but other than that great shape. My only drawl back is the insane price for a rider fee. $13 for 9 or $20 for 18 is a stretch, especially if they are only sitting. Lots of the range balls have cracks all over them, but other than that I’ll come back. Won’t bring a rider though

Great course! Beautiful scenery with the course set in the mist of those gorgeous homes. Greens were slick, staff were friendly and helpful and the cart girl was cute. A great day at the golf course!

Golf course was a little rough some of the green putting area needed some attention like some sort of weed was growing there. If you have any back issues don’t drive on the Golf cart lane, the road suck pretty bad, I’m a Retired Veteran and I’m also trying to learn how to golf on this particular day I was with 3 of my retired veteran friends and one of his son, and the guy that works the front desk come flying down in his golf cart saying something about we were holding up the people behind us which I didn’t see and if we were they could have played through if they want, I knew I’m not a good…

From an initial look I assumed they were a private club, however they are public. For the price this place is great! The bar/restaurant is fantastic! Great food, great service, awesome people. Especially Gigi! More people in this world should be like her.

Recently I had to cancel my membership at the Woodlands due to health and personal reasons. I had been there as a member in good standing for over 10 years. This past year I played 7 times, the last time in June. When the membership renewal came due, I sent my resignation notice only to find that I must pay for one additional month before it could become effective. It cost me $170 to learn that the Management of this golf course has more interest in taking your money than providing a good golf experience. If you are looking for a club, go elsewhere.

I really enjoy playing the Woodlands Golf Course. Service is always very good & using the Columbia VIP book our round was reasonably priced. Greens were in excellent shape, hard fast & true. Fairways were very spotty & I sometimes had to search for grass. I think the course condition will improve in a few weeks.
