Tuckaway Golf Course is generally appreciated for its well-maintained grounds, challenging layout with elevation changes, and courteous staff. Many visitors enjoy the quaint clubhouse and find the course worth the drive from nearby areas. However, some golfers have experienced issues with course management, such as disorganized scheduling, slow pace of play, and occasional maintenance concerns, particularly affecting senior players.

It's worth the easy drive from New Lenox to play here. Over the years this has frequently become our go to course. Overall I feel the course is in great shape as evidenced by landscaping crews constantly maintaining it while not interfering with your game. I appreciate the layout, older trees, and ponds which don't present much of a hazard. I've also found the staff here very courteous and accommodating. The clubhouse is quaint, and the perfect place to enjoy a cold one and sandwich after a round with your Bud's.

It's a nice course. The fairways had some rough patches but overall pretty good. Greens seemed to be in pretty good shape too. We played in October so there were tons of leaves all over, but that's what happens when you play golf in the fall. Overall I had a good time and I will definitely be back.

I've played here several times. I'm in Mokena and it's worth the drive! Extremely friendly staff. Thanks

I really like playing this course. From the first tee to the eighteenth green, I know this place like the back of My hand. Lol! But really, I have probably played here about a hundred times and enjoyed it every single time. Course is looking exceptionally great for mid August and plan on going back at least two or three more times this season. Keep up the good work Greens Staff!!!

The course is in great shape. Reminds me of the Old Lake Hills golf course. So...add a club when that green is "up " in front of you. The greens are in good shape, but are playing a bit slow...

We have our American Legion Golf Outing their every year. Friendly people and staff. Nice coarse, kept up well, the owners always give our Legion a good deal so we can make some money also.

Good times, reasonable green fee. Elevation changes small green not hard to get too. Challenges any amateur.

Didnt play the course stopped in the bar after the forest preserves. Best bar angel ever said her name was Cameo. So sweet.

I’m a veteran and wanted to give this place a try. When I arrived I noticed they had special parking spots reserved for veterans and think this is a very nice gesture. The first hole is awesome, feels like you’re teeing off from the top of a cliff. Lots of elevation changes on this course which I find challenging and fun. Course was in great shape, and I will definitely be back.

Perhaps the most miserable clubhouse attendant I have ever encountered coupled with the most disorganized outing I've ever been to The course was in good shape and the Bar tender was pleasant.

Management is completely unresponsive to customer concerns on the fourth hole senior tee box. It’s been brought to their attention for three years to ensure it’s level and flat, which is a falling hazard for seniors at worst and at the very least, a playability issue. Seniors beware. Course management is inattentive to feedback and makes the course unenjoyable for senior players. Send on behalf of my Dad, who is moving on from playing a league there.

. We held our golf outing at Tuckaway. We had 67 golfers. The staff Jim and Tom and the ladies in the bar area were amazing. They did not disappoint. Each and every golfer was amazed with the hospitality and that we were able to start an hour before the initial Tee time. We will be back next year. Thank you Tuckaway!!!!
