Verde River Golf & Social Club

I’d call this a hidden gem. This place has it all - golf course, dining, shops, spa, wedding venue and if you are looking for an age restricted community to live in , you can buy a brand new house if you are 55+ . The view of the mountains is spectacular. It’s closer to Scottsdale and Fountain Hills, so if you are in the area and looking for a resort style experience, give it a try. I also want to mention that it is gated, and this was built by Shea homes.

Beautiful patio and grounds for the social enthusiast! Everything in this entire complex was so well thought out. The staff is always so friendly!

I went here because I had a Groupon and what a pampered experience I had! Greeted at the door they showed me around so I knew where to go and what I had access to (pool, spa, food, whirlpool, locker room, exercise rooms, and steam room) then showed me the relaxation room where I was to wait for my treatment. With my spa robe and slippers I got to go enjoy the steam room first then shuffled over to the relaxation room where I was promptly greeted and brought to my massage. Oh my goodness. I have had massages before but she spent time, and used our, sugar scrub and hot towels to make it an exper…

Beautifully done, great social and quiet relaxing area's. Lunch in the restaurant was great, nice options and the staff friendly, knowledgeable.

Fantastic views, great atmosphere, attentive wait staff and great food. I ordered the brussel sprouts and the market place deli board to start (the goat cheese and ciabatta tastes amazing), the butter cake (that's a must), the millionaire burger, and the house shaved prime rib dip.

Oh my goodness, this place is THE BEST place to relax! The staff was professional and accommodating, the food was delicious, the pool was peaceful and serene, the views were out of this world. All around a wonderful experience

Pleasantly surprised by this golf course. I am a 8 handicap and I felt the course was forgiving enough yet still very fun. All the greens were in great shape and the practice facilities were exceptional. Pace of play was awesome - finished in just under 4 hours. And of course, the views were breathtaking. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Scottsdale!

Ausome views excellent golf course Tom Lehman remade a gem 5 star service great food and nice localbeer choices about 10 to 15 on tap a truely stupendous experience. Pictures are literally sitting inside at the bar looking out open no glass patio.
