Vernon Golf & Country Club

Went here for a Christmas work party and have a fabulous time. Staff is great and the DJ Mastarmix had the place hopping and laughing. Great night was had by all.

Vernon Golf was my 175th stop on my adventure to eat at every eatery here in town. I paid $30.66 after tax and tip for nachos and root beer which is a little steep given the portion size. The chips go heavy on the cubed tomatoes and the chips have an unusual seasoning. However, it all still tasted great. The chips have a unique crispy taste you don't often see in nachos. The server was super friendly and clearly popular amongst the regulars. The patio dining experience is also a beautiful spot. Overall, I recommend giving this place a try.

I recently visited the Vernon Golf and Country Club and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was well-prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The kitchen is doing a great job, and it really shows in the quality of the dishes. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience did not match the quality of the food. Service was slow and disorganized, and there seemed to be a lack of communication among staff. Had a meal in the clubhouse after finishing a round of golf. Pizza, steak, fish & chips and the coconut curry. Everyone enjoyed thoroughly, service was friendly and prompt, Restauraunt area clean and welcoming. Will eat here more often.

Nice little private course where you can book some tee times that members don’t want. Its a simple straight forward course without a lot of hazards and features. Pretty straight but still a nice mix of pars. Its a smaller course but not technically an executive. Nice greens

Went to the restaurant for lunch with my parents, horrible food. I ordered a chicken sandwhich, they served it with NO CHICKEN on it. I got a burnt piece of deep fried crust with absolutely no evidence of meat. I don’t know how this restaurant is still in business. Gross food every single time.

Awesome driving range. Close to down town, well kept, freindly and helpful staff.

Exceptional course, I would absolutely try for a membership here if I lived in town. 10/10 would play again.

Would love to see more collaboration with local bakeries and farmers to support the community like hot bread shop, pig city lumby, grillers, yankee flats meats, etc. (perhaps a feature once in a while?) This is a beautiful restaurant, and I'm so glad we finally found a reasonable & well taken care of breakfast place that isn't diner quality, here in Vernon. Our food was delicious, the only other thing I would ask is for dairy free options like coconut milk or almond milk for coffee. We will be returning far more frequently, since we live so close. Really enjoyed this place. Friendly staff and starters greens fairways tee boxes in really good condition. Score worthy course for sure.

Played a twilight round the other day that took almost 5 hours! Staff in the clubhouse were really friendly and held it down nicely. The course itself was well kept. Seemed very Wild West compared to 99% of courses I’ve played once you tee off, no rules or etiquette or anyone to see things go smoothly at all. Two groups ahead of me joined up and took their shoes and some shirts off, smoking up and chillin on teeboxes holding 5 plus parties behind them up, as it got dark, not letting anyone play through. Great place for events, had our company Christmas party here. Great food and deserts and dance floor with music. Wonderful friendly staff and easy to find a close parking spot. Would definitely recommend for any special event.
