In summary

Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf is praised for its stunning ocean views, particularly on the Beach course, and well-maintained fairways and greens. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, the variety of the three 9-hole courses, and the overall scenic setting. While some guests mention the infrequent appearance of the beverage cart and occasional slow play due to beginners, the overall experience is considered enjoyable and worth the visit.

We played a round of 18 on Beach and Lakes. Beach was amazing and we saw whales in the distance. Lakes was beautiful as well and challenging with some nice trails and lava points of interest. We were able to rent clubs for both women and a left hander. My only feedback was that we only saw the beverage cart once but didn't take away from the experience. Especially once we realized they had a few bottles of water in the cart cooler! Had we known we wouldn't see the bev cart again, we may have purchased a couple more to put in the cooler for later. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and e…

I can not explain how great this experience was. The attitude from everyone here is so welcoming and for certain a bar raiser. The keeper (Bernie) at the driving range gave my son some advice on his swing. Afterward, he was spot-on with every swing.

The course was only OK. It felt like a typical resort course. Greens weren't impressive. The views were decent. It was overall enjoyable.

Had a great round of golf here with my daughter. They have a great family golf deal after 3pm with rental clubs included. The course was overall in decent condition for the average golfer. It is beautifully situated. If you get a chance to play the Beach course, hole 6 is amazing, right on the ocean. We played the Kings course which was nice especially for a below average golfer like myself. Not too challenging. Super nice staff too!

I golfed the Beach 9 and Kings 9 yesterday. Absolutely beautiful. Green were cut well and rolled true. Shot a 78. I'm a 16 handicap so I'm a happy golfer. Photo is from our hotel room at the Waikoloa Hilton. I think the 6th hole. Par 5 dog-leg left. A very picturesque hole.

Beach #6 lived up to the hype! Spotted 5 whales, spouts, breaches, and tail. Apologies to the couple behind us for taking a few extra minutes but, whale watching on the golf course... priceless! Only disappointment was that we saw the beverage cart once in 18 holes. Staff was friendly and engaging.

What an amazing place to spend the day. It’s very rare that a Google image of a place is actually as beautiful as it is every day. This was the best round of golf I’ve ever played.

Played all three nines over two days, my favorites are the Beach and Lake nines. King is bot bad but a lot of the holes seemed similar to me. Beach has hole 6 along the beach, thus the name while Lakes has, you guessed it, sevetal lakes in play on several holes. The first hole has a forced carry over a lake of about 160 from the whites and about 195 from the blues. Overall this is a resort style course with wide fairways and relatively flattish greens. They had just de-thached the greens so they were slow and bumpy but other than that the course was in good shape. I would play it again. Oddly,…

Waikoloa has three 9-hole courses to choose from. We played the King's and Beach course. Both courses were beautiful and the Beach course will take you near the beach with some nice views. The course was well maintained. The course does appear to be wide open, but you do need to look ahead as there are obstacles and OB out there. Tee boxes: The tee boxes were good with lots of grass, not sandy. There are a few holes that have elevated tee boxes. Fairways: The fairways were pretty nice, it is summer so the grass does get a little dry, the rolls farther. There is some undulation on the fairway…

Great course, good value, highly recommend. We played the beach 9 and the kings 9. The beach course has more ocean views but Kings course has some pretty holes too. The pro shop has a ton of selection and logo items at reasonable prices. Space of play was quick, well under 4hrs. Be sure to checkout Mai Grille at the club house, one of the best food spots/restaurants on the island in my opinion.

This place is unreal, wonderful staff, stellar views . I highly recommend this course. 4 stars due to the shape of the greens. They were borderline dried out with dry brown patches . I would play again regardless.

Never played the Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf, so wasn’t sure what to expect. The rates were much cheaper than on Kauai, and some of the holes were right on the ocean here. Paid inside the modern clubhouse, grabbed a cold one, and headed to the range. We promptly headed out to the first hole which was backed up by a foursome of beginners - and I mean beginners - it was like Ray Charles giving the other guy and 2 women lessons on every hole. We felt bad for the couple in front of us, having to wait for them. We skipped a hole, and play was wide open the rest of the holes. Very scenic holes, espe…
