Walnut Wood Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging and interesting layout, with some visitors highlighting the photogenic quality of several holes. The staff is often praised for their friendliness, and the course is noted for its affordability. However, there are significant concerns about the course's maintenance, with reports of bare spots on greens, overgrown bunkers, and a generally run-down condition affecting the overall experience.

Really nice people running it and inexpensive, but otherwise has become very sadly run down. Layout always a bit odd including ridiculous first all with blind second shot over 100 yard wide pond.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Walnut Wood GC. A challenging course, very interesting layout, and some very photogenic holes as well. You won't get bored w this one. I just wish it was closer to home.

In sad condition. Greens with bare spots, slow and bouncy, bunkers are mowed weeds.

This place is rough. Weeds in the greens, sand traps are over grown, and they want regular greens fees. I won't be back.
