In summary

Water Park Golf & Country Club has recently reopened under new ownership, with some visitors noting efforts to improve the course conditions and staff professionalism. However, many reviews highlight significant maintenance issues, including poorly kept greens, overgrown fairways, and malfunctioning golf carts, which have led to dissatisfaction with the overall golfing experience. Additionally, concerns about the value for money and the state of the clubhouse and amenities are frequently mentioned.

Excited to see this golf course reopening under new ownership. The new team seems to be putting a lot of effort into improving the property and getting everything ready for the season. Looking forward to checking it out once it opens in April.

You get what you pay for... the photos tell the storey, all photos were taken showing tee blocks, fairways, greens, and bunkers, none of them were taken in the rough wich is impossible to judge the diference from the fairway.

Used to be a good place to play and have fun. Greens should be called browns. Weeds everywhere. Constantly losing balls in uncut fairways. Mud and water everywhere, hoses left all over the course. Junk everywhere. No signage for holes. Scorecards old photo copied garbage. Carts in poor condition. And charging $60 when they should be charging $25/30. Just lack of maintanence.

This was my first time playing this course and I found the experience to be exceptional. It is an 18 hole course but I only played nine holes. Staff is professional and kind. I was speaking with Marju on the phone and she checked us in as well. She was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the course. Pace of play was great. Conditions were decent overall - the fairway was the same length as the rough which certainly made it easier to find our balls. Planes were constantly flying over the course and landing at the local airport. I like planes. Would definitely consider coming back here. Gre…

Hands down the absolute worst golf course I’ve ever wasted my time and money on. The so-called “greens” are a complete joke patchy, bumpy, and look like they’ve been neglected for months. The fairways? Forget it. The grass is so overgrown you’d think you were hacking your way through a backyard jungle, not playing golf. And the kicker? They had the nerve to charge $50 for ONE person to play on this garbage. What a rip-off. Honestly, it feels like theft. I wouldn’t recommend this course to my worst enemy. Save your money and go literally anywhere else, because this dump is an embarrassment to t…

This course used to be a lot of fun to play. The clubhouse is now so run down with garbage and empty beer bottles scattered inside as well as outside. It’s clear the owners don’t take pride in their business. The course is not properly maintained as there are weeds throughout the fairway, the greens are in rough condition (full of dead grass and ant hills) and the tees are rock solid and lack clear signage to distinguish hole numbers. Our cart broke down at hole 3, and although we were given a replacement, we had to figure out a workaround with the gear shift to get it going every time we stop…

I loved this golf course. It’s a bit higher on the complexity level. I played 9 holes but this is a 18 holes course.

Don't waste your money. You can spend the same amount at other Niagara Region courses that offer a MUCH better experience. This course is not maintained at all. There was garbage and empty beer bottles littering the entrance to the "pro shop". The tee blocks were like concrete, the fairways were overgrown with white weeds, the greens were full of dead patches and to top it off, our cart died 3 holes in. Spend your money elsewhere.

Something is not right with this place. The course is poorly maintained, the greens are a mess and bunkers are completely overgrown. The clubhouse is almost completely empty with barely any food options. You can count on your cart dying well before you finish your game, and you’ll struggle to get help if you get stuck with a dead cart in the middle of the course. There are so many problems with this course, yet they charge as much as other actually well maintained courses in the region, and in some cases even more. This sad joke of a course charges as much as places less than 15 minutes away…

I've never written a review before but my experience here was so bad that I had to. Right from the start the staff were unwelcoming and rude to us. Most of the carts were damaged or not working at all, we were given a cart that was missing the back cushions, had a hole in the floor, and the clipboard on the wheel was completely broken off. The grass everywhere was extremely long and the greens were horribly maintained. The greens are covered in ant hills and dirt causing the ball to bounce along them when putting. On three of the greens, there were hoses for sprinklers running over them making…

I was there today, I can’t even say I was golfing as the course is so bad. Cost us more than the average courses in the area. It shouldn’t even be classed as a golf course the greens are a 1 out of 10, full of weeds and I think it was holes from moles with piles of dirt all over the entire green where they had dug holes. We paid for 9 holes with a cart and the cart died after 4 holes. She had told us that the battery was low and they would run us out another if it died, but she out and out lied as they didn’t have another cart to give us. She gave us back less than a 3rd of what the ridiculous…

Share a special date night, boys weekend or even a day off at the Water Park Golf & Country club! The staff will start your day by over charging you, followed by delivering you a key to a golf cart that barely runs. Move to Hole #1 and use your wedge or bring scissors to clear the grass on the tee block, make sure to use a metal tee as a plastic or wood one will not be able to puncture the hard dried up tee block. Using your driver will be the optimal strategy on hole #1 and make sure to swing as hard as you can because it wont matter where you hit to, you will not be able to find your ball…
