In summary

Waterford Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff and affordability, making it a suitable option for beginners and casual players. The course layout is generally enjoyed, with some challenging holes and scenic rolling hills. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's condition, citing issues with greens, fairways, and the presence of fire ant mounds, which detract from the overall experience.

I played there at 9:00 am on a Tuesday morning. I played with my 8 year old son. They did not charge me for his round and we walked. I think it was $12.00 We played the back nine. It was fun. Not a hard course at all. There were some challenges, but it was a very forgiving course if you could keep the ball in play. Many of the holes were short enough to not even need a wood off the tee. I like fun courses, ones with character, this one qualifies as one like that. The course uses the rolling hills well. Not many huge elevation changes, but enough to make it fun. I was surprised that on at least…

Great golf Course, very nice layout. For early November the course is in great shape. My only issue is the large number of fire ant mounds they appear to be out of control. Walk the front nine and then ride for the back nine, very hilly. Very friendly staff.

Definitely wouldn't pay the full weekend rate to play this course. The greens and fairways are in pretty bad shape......But with that being said after 4:00 during the week' it's only 10$ for nine holes with cart and free range balls. Which is almost worth it lol

The best part of this course is the exit. It used to be a decent course but it has become the worst course in Georgia. Oak Haven is in better shape and it has been closed for at least 5 years. They were cutting the greens while we played and the mower was set high enough to miss the ant beds on the greens. You can't hit your putter hard enough to make it across some of the small greens. We did spend about 10 minutes looking for my ball in the middle of number 9's fairway. We played at a discounted rate of $19 and that was about $20 too much. Definitely will not play here ever again.

Mr Wood (Tommy) thank you for all the years you provided a safe place for our young people to learn and play the game of golf. Many people young and old have enjoyed not only your golf course over the years but also your friendship. You are one of only a few instructors who can teach the game correctly and cares about your students and their progress. Tommy you will be missed by the community. Take care my friend.

It's not a high end course, but the for the price range it is a good course to play. There are a few challenging holes but there are also plenty of easy ones for the weekend warrior. The staff are excellent and will treat you right.

Completely bad course. Any decent golfer that plays here can expect unpredictable fairway bounces and greens that don't hold. IF.. you can find grass in the fairway, you'd be lucky to actually see the whole. Distance markings are way off and the course is managed poorly. Makes sense why people host 4 man scramble there. Bigger profit margin and anybody can post any handicap. I wouldn't recommend this course to golfers that know what their shots do. I'd recommend this course to the group with blue jean shorts and a t shirt

Played here yesterday. This place is an absolute trash can. There is no fairways, nothing but rough.. rough fairways rough greens rough bunker rough tee boxes. Greens are terrible, weeds and ant beds every where. probably the worst golf course in middle ga.. I'd be embarrassed if I owned the place.

The other reviewers hit the nail on the head. This is a destination golf course. It's not a 'second choice'. If you have a chance to play it... then you should The staff is friendly, and the course is well kept.

Played back the week of Thanksgiving so I had to come back and play when the grass is green. Course was in very good shape. I enjoyed myself. Great course for the price.

Decent place to play. Needs a little love. The greens are not all that great. I don't think it's worth the amount I paid today.
