In summary

Pine Oaks Golf Club receives praise for its affordability and friendly staff, with some visitors appreciating the course's layout and serene setting. However, there are significant concerns about maintenance, particularly with the greens, fairways, and tee boxes, which some describe as being in poor condition. While some visitors enjoy the course's challenges and improvements, others are disappointed by inconsistent upkeep and infrastructure issues.

Unbeatable for the price and course conditions throughout the year. Most of the greens are in great shape. The fairways are kept blown free of leaves throughout the fall and winter. The driving range is also quite nice but is mats-only through the winter. There are some decent challenges and slopes. Once again, the value is great for such a well-maintained course.

Awesome golf course and in super great shape! Kudos to the entire Services team that maintain this place in such top notch condition. One of the “best” courses in the Air Force! Way to go!

Once a great golf course perfectly maintained. I was very sad to see the current shape of the greens, fairways and tee boxes. The greens have weeds growing on them, the fairways have weeds and the mowing height was very inconsistent. The tee boxes just need help a lot of help. If you are not in the fairway just consider your balls lost as off the fairway has not been mowed for months. Off the fairway the grass and weeds are at least 18 inches high. I sincerely hope something is done about the condition of the course as it still has the bones of the once great course it was.

Excellent membership prices! Course is getting much better. Greens still need a little more work. Great course especially for beginner golfers and families.

Course closes at 7pm. Walked in at 510 to hit some balls and was told they're picking up the range and have no baskets. Range cart not on the range picking up balls, 20 full baskets behind the desk, parking lot empty. Do better Robins.

The course has made great leaps forward in its quality but the greens and fairways are still mediocre at some points. The price is very fair but the course itself still needs some work.

Not only was the course amazing and in great condition but the staff and everyone there was extremely nice and very helpful. The course was almost flawless and the greens were perfect and consistent throughout the whole course. I have been back several times and so have my mates. We continue to frequent this course and enjoy it every time! From the clubhouse to the 18th hole we were greeted with serene views and perfectly manicured tee boxes, fairways and greens. The rough was challenging but fair throughout the course. The clubhouse and the facilities were kept clean and tidy. The staff there…

Great experience. Not a golfer at all, first time on the green actually, and as nervous as I was driving a golf cart for the first time, I had a fun experience. Plenty of parking, not too busy, staff was very helpful, retrieving and returning the golf cart was not a problem, and restrooms along the way were convenient. We did the whole course, so if you're planning on doing that as well make sure you have enough time, it does take a while. I'd say it's a great place for both the experienced and new-novice golfer any day.

Beautiful day but wasted on a course not worthy of your time. I've been playing military courses for near 50 years and this was the worse, maybe the worst ever. Shame really as the course has good bones, great potential, but has been terribly neglected. Good luck with this one. The base commander must not be a golfer or he/she would never stand for this.

The course is in the worst state ever, the greens have algae and weed infestation so bad they are not playable. The fairways are like cow pastures and the tee boxes haven’t been cut in a long time. Shame to see this happening to what was a really good golf course.

Played here on 4/25/2023. Quite possibly the worst golf course I have ever played since I started playing in 1974. The fairways and tee boxes are the worst. The greens, as bad as they are, are the best thing about this course. Never, ever, play there. Now I know why I had no trouble getting on as a single.

Course is challenging and they really try to keep it in shape. The base services department doesn't really help them out by taking the course profits and divvying them to other base services like bowling and arts/crafts. Really? How about if they don't make money, close them. There is a die-hard group of people that enjoy playing on base and letting them do their jobs and maintain the place would be wonderful. But in the end, I still like playing here. The price is right and the challenge is there for that price.
