Bowden Golf Course

Enjoyed the day at Bowden Golf Course. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in the clubhouse. Would have given it a 5 but the Course fairways and cart paths have lots of ruts. Greens are in great shape for this time at your. Still a great day.

Great service!! I love the course! It’s a great workout if you are walking the greens! A word of caution The back 9 are steep if you attempt to walk the greens!! The greens are kept fairly decent. I’m grateful for the staff on hand they provide the service of keeping the greens decent and up to par. Great price. I was sad to hear about Mr Jim Hickman he was my instructor a while back and was a great at the game and had a very unique way of teaching the game that made you want to learn even more. He will be missed. Bowden is a great course. I always enjoy my visit at Bowden.

Love the spectator fee my would've loved paying 14.00 bucks to the piles of trash at every tee box any way have the day you deserve

Greens are not well kept. They didn’t have enough carts for the people that reserved tee times. Their website says they sell alcohol, but they do not. You aren’t supposed to bring outside food and drinks. Not our favorite course, but it’s also not one of the more expensive courses. There is definitely no pro shop like it advertises. We enjoyed playing but it definitely needs some work.

I see all these negative comments on the course. But they were made several years ago...Alot of improvement has been going on....greens are being taken care of...the fairways are coming around...and alot of underbrush is being removed. I agree that the course suffered some failure in the past, but it is coming back, continue to support the course...it is getting better little by little

$6 for a large bucket of balls, nice practice putting green, decent for a public course and for the price

First time playing here was very enjoyable. The course looks really good and fairways and greens stay in good condition and cut properly. A plus is the golf carts are in great condition with a range finder attached to the cart telling you the exact yardage to the green and hole. Definitely a course I will be back to in the near future.

The staff was super friendly, we brought our 2 kids as we were passing through. Golf carts are very updated with GPS, the greens were in pretty good shape beside a couple holes, and fairways were decent. Overall great experience with a great price. We will definitely play here again if we come back through.

They have really improved this course. They are watering the fairways, and the greens are really in pretty good shape. But the new groundskeeper is amazing. He comes from a great background, including Augusta national, and he’s determined to make this a top-notch golf course. You can’t beat this place especially for the price.

My opinion I think it's a great course the greens are always well kept very playable. The staff is always friendly,I have played a many of courses around the state of Georgia, and this is one of the best ones in my consideration It is not Canon gate but for the price and the layout You can't beat it Well done.

I play here a lot with a lot of different people. Everyone I meet is really excited about the improvements that have been made of the past 12 months. The greens keeper here has changed this course into a top 10 golf course for this area. I play at a lot of golf courses and I believe that it is only a matter of time before Bowden is the best golf course in middle Georgia. This course is in great shape. The price is great so you do not have to spend a lot of money to play on a nice golf course.

I literally showed up hoping to play on a Sunday morning. If I couldn't, I would use the driving range. They got me out even thought it was crowded. The greens were absolutely amazing and it was a fun course to play.
