In summary

White River Golf Club is praised for its scenic setting, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a charming and affordable option for golfers. The course layout is noted for being flat and walkable, with some challenging holes that add to its appeal. While the course is generally well-received, some visitors have mentioned that the greens can be slow, and it has recently closed permanently as of August 2023.

Was probably one of the most unique golf experiences that I have ever had. Hitting from the tips on 7 when people are driving by you at 60 miles only feet away is freaky. Hitting from the blues on 8 from a raised platform with a mat to hit off over the river and marsh is something a 9 hole course does, use as much property as possible to make a regulation course, which it is. Only downside was greens were really slow, need to be faster

This is a great little hidden gem of a golf course that is worth sharing. It’s just 9 holes and flat so it is an easy course to walk and very scenic. There are a couple of holes that are very challenging and the greens were in fantastic shape.

This is a really nice, casual, enjoyable course to play. However, it's somewhat deceptively challenging. It is very well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Its walkable, but on a hot day there is limited shade, so you may want to take a cart.

I always love seeing Pete and Jayne. Very friendly. This is a great walking flat course with amazing mountain and river views. Pete does a great job with the grounds and is very knowledgeable. I recommend this course for a laid back fun affordable experience!

Very affordable, easily walkable, and as scenic as it gets! I was visiting and they had a really good set of rental clubs for me to use at a great price. Greens are in great shape. Very hospitable service. Will be back!
