In summary

Whitefish Golf Club receives praise for its well-maintained course, friendly and helpful staff, and scenic, woodsy setting. Many visitors appreciate the reasonable rates compared to other high-end courses in the area. However, some guests have noted issues with the pace of play, particularly on weekends, and have found the pricing to be on the higher side for the quality offered. Additionally, a few visitors experienced dissatisfaction with the course marshals and overall management during busy times.

The course is overpriced for the quality but overall a woodsy course with low elevation. The location is nice and worth a visit if you are in the area.

See update below. First time visit and played the front nine. Forgiving but challenging for all skill levels. Nice price for the quality of course and conditions. I hope to play this course every chance I get. Update: Due to the high price, I have not returned to this course in over a year. Too bad because I have fond memories, especially since I came within an inch of my first ace on #4. As a senior, $75 with a cart is valid only M-Thu after noon. Any other day/time is $89-$99 (twilight is slightly better) so I'm taking off 2 stars.

Showed up with a group of 6, played 2:4 best ball scramble. Kept pace the entire time in fact waiting for the group in front of us for the front 9. Back 9 let a group of 2 play through because we have 3 high schoolers. Course Marshal comes up on hole 16 criticizing the group of 6, stating the group behind was waiting. The 5 minutes he took would’ve kept us on pace LOL. Regardless on hole 17 we waited for the group in front of us. Point being, the Marshal created a ton of stress and ruined the experience for our family. Very disappointed. Our uncle has been a member for almost 2 decades, shamef…

The staff there including the Marshalls are grumpy individuals. I’ve played hundreds of courses in my time and these fellas were by far the most non welcoming bunch. The course though was good.

Beautiful Course played on a beautiful day. Saturday of Memorial Weekend. We were a twosome playing behind a slow foursome that would not let us through until we called the starter and suggested that he catch them a the end of nine and let us play through onto 10. They did not have rangers on this day of all days. The starter handled the situation wrong but we did play through and had a fun round. The rating would be higher without this experience. $109 with a small bucket of balls.

It’s a nice course but the price just isn’t competitive. There are better courses for less per round in the same area.

Came back after two years and still a beautiful course with great staff. Laughed when we Googled the course for the phone number and saw our photo! Figured we better take a new one! If you haven't played this course you should!

I have time to post this because I’ve gotten through 10 holes in 3 hours. I’d avoid this place on the weekends.

Course was in great shape for this time of the year. No winter kill on the greens. Some temporary t-boxes for the red tees. No big deal. Greens were a bit shaggy, but that's typical for early spring. Enjoy

The course is always in great shape. Rounds run a little over 4 hours - pretty good for a public course. The starters and people in the pro shop are very friendly. Food is meh.
