Wickenburg Country Club

We enjoyed playing Wickenburg Golf Club ! Pro-shop and restaurant staff were efficient and friendly. The golf course greens were in excellent shape. The course was narrow but fair and provided a great challenge . I left my range finder and the staff phoned me to let me know they.had it . Went there for the first time to have the all you can eat fish dinner. BEWARE do not order it. The fish was tough, greasy and overcooked. I have never had cod like this before. Our very kind waitress, informed the manager and she showed him the quality of food they were serving. Came to our table to apologize and nothing else. I would have hoped at least a free dessert since we couldn’t finish our dinner. Special place to golf. Everything I look for in a golf course. All areas were clean and organized. Both friendly staff and golfers. I played as a single and came up on 3 groups who allowed me to play through and were congenial in the process. Quick check-in, clean, well maintained carts. The course was challenging, well kept, and entertaining. I will return and would recommend it to friends.

This morning, we ventured to Wickenburg to play at the Wickenburg Country Club. As residents of the Peoria and Scottsdale areas, with extensive experience golfing throughout the valley, I present this assessment from the perspective of a discerning golfer. The driving range is insufficiently sized and presents a disorganized selection of found balls and range balls, all characterized by significant wear, lacking the proper dimples essential for effective play. This is a really fun place to eat. They had music, which was fun, old-time popular music. I ordered a pattymelt, which was pretty good with onion rings instead of fries. The atmosphere was festive and decorated. I went someplace after, so did not participate in drinks.

Our vet moved from surprise to wickenburg…we were heartbroken!.. I just couldn’t think of using someone else to clean my baby girls teeth..(not to mention he is over 300$ less expensive!) We live in Sun City.. what are we going to do In Wickenburg for 7 hours??.. hey let’s go golfing! This golf course is super close to our vet Dr Leber.. so off we go.. what a beautiful course! It was in great shape and the scenery is gorgeous!.. not to mention the weather was perfect! All personal we’re super friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better day golfing.

We had a girls’ luncheon at The Hitching Post restaurant, located at the historic Wickenburg Country Club, and it was absolutely fantastic. It was a pleasure getting to play this course. My friend invited me to play and highly recommened playing here cause of his experience with the staff being so courteous and friendly. All I can say is he was 100% right. We look forward to many more rounds playing here. Thanks.

What can I say about my absolutely perfect wedding!!!!! From the moment we first met Denice, we knew that we wanted to have our wedding with her. Her absolutely warming embrace and genuine passion for her work won us over instantly and we signed our agreement the same day. From hospitality to decorations, we were completely amazed. Denice and her daughter treated us and all of our guests like family and were very open to whatever we wanted to do to make our night perfect. Nice course. Well kept. Alot of elevation shots up and down. You really need to be on your A game to scratch out pars here. Narrow fairways and small greens. No cart girl on duty. But there is a nice bar and restaurant on site.

well maintained nice course. definitely target desert golf need driver on maybe 4 or 5 holes. greens are great po’ana nice and fast.

We played there as a twosome a couple of days ago. As a twosome we did not expect to move quickly, around 4 hours would of been nice, however we were well over three hours by the time we got finished the 11th which gets back to the club house we were well over 3 hours so we were finished, did not want a 5 plus hour round, no rhythm to the game. We get that everyone has a right to play once you pay your money, but there has to be some courtesy for others playing which the club should make some attempt to enforce.
