In summary

Widow's Walk Golf Club is praised for its challenging and unique layout, well-maintained greens, and scenic setting, with a clubhouse and practice facilities that enhance the overall experience. However, there are significant concerns about the condition of the fairways and tee boxes, which many describe as poorly maintained and in need of substantial improvement. Additionally, the narrow fairways and dense rough can make the course unforgiving, leading to a high likelihood of lost balls.

First the positives 1. Nice driving range, practise greens, 2. Good bar and grill, 3. Tricky layout, uniquely designed holes, well maintained greens 4. Whites and blue tees are quite tough. Play the silver ones or white/Silver mix to survive if you are 10+ handicap. The bad Q. Fairways are super narrow - so you will be in first rough a lot which is very poorly maintained. Hard as concrete and chances of losing the ball are super high. Lots of brown spots everywhere ...haven't watered. 2. Tee boxes are hard as rocks and not properly maintained- sometimes can't get the tee in. Overall unique,…

Good course. It’s actually somewhat challenging if you’re not familiar with the layout which I enjoy because a lot of the courses in the area are mundane and rudimentary and meant for people to have fun. When I go golfing, I don’t wanna have fun. I wanna be challenged and get angry once or twice but at the end of the day if it wasn’t challenging, was it even fun?

I have been on this course several times, always a good time. I don't play well so I lose balls, but have a great time. Played (if that is what you call what I do) last week and had a wonderful time. Course is well maintained and the employees were great to us. Had lunch after our round of 9 and really enjoyed it. The drinks were refreshing and the food was very good. Will be back!

I’ve been to Widow’s Walk three times now and I don’t know if I’ll be returning. The course itself is in great shape. They have a robust practice facility. The clubhouse / outdoor bar area is beautiful. This place feels like it has it all! There are two main factors that make playing here undesirable: 1.) This course is WAY too penal. You’ll see other people saying it too. Part of the fun of golf is trying to work your way out of tricky situations and hit nice recovery shots. That can’t happen when you miss the fairway by 10 yards and your ball is gone. If you leak your clubs by 20-30 yards…

A challenging but fun course that offers a mix of hole layouts. Bring lots of balls, if you wind up in the woods it’s likely gone. Overall the course is in great shape, and hard to beat for the price. Clubhouse is nice and staff is friendly. Didn’t get anything at the grille, but it looked nice and the balcony has a great view.

I love this golf course! The view is to die for. But it is a very challenging course. Make sure you have extra balls, especially if you're not that good at golf (like me lol).

Great course. Although it's narrow for some holes it's good to change strategy. I love the interesting layouts for each hole. Certainly not boring. Water hazards are actually pretty to look at. Hole 8 is quite interesting if you can drive over the trees. I didn't realize how close it is but felt bad if it was too close to the group in front of us.

The course and facilities are in good shape. The routing is clever, and the par 3s are all excellent. The price is solid. Unfortunately, the course is let down by a really poor and unfun playing experience. Specifically, the hole corridors are too tight and too tree-lined. There’s simply not enough room for a golfer whose drives go 240+ yards to find their ball on more than about half of their tee shots. All in all, the course would do well to undergo a significant tree and brush removal to widen the hole corridors. Modern courses need at least 60 yards between penalty stroke areas, and that…

Great course, greens and Fairways in excellent shape! Much of the hazardous brush trimmed back! At least to start the season ;)

Took this picture with no filter from my round, really nice course. Some of the tee boxes are a little rough, but overall it’s a great course with great scenery. Very difficult, so bring a bunch of spare balls. Easily my favorite public 18 hole course

This place is sweeeet. Huge improvement on the greens and the fairways these past couple years and I have no doubt they’ll get better and better. Great prices, definitely recommend.

This Golf Course has the worst fairways and greens I’ve ever seen next to Leo J Martin, Golf Course The fairways were a small patches of elevated grass surrounded by dirt and sand. I was told it was because of a watering issue and the pipes were broken. Well, let me just say it looks like it hasn’t been watered in years. There is no grass growing, the grass isn’t even burnt. it is a dirt pile. It’s going to take tens of thousands of dollars, if not hundreds to actually seed and grow grass on this course. It’s not a water issue the soil is dead. Don’t waste your money going here. You’ve been wa…
