In summary

Yardley Country Club is widely praised for its beautifully maintained course, friendly staff, and vibrant atmosphere, with many appreciating the club's scenic setting and the quality of food and service at Alexander's Pub. The club's events and amenities, such as live entertainment and public access to the downstairs bar, are also well-received. However, there is a notable criticism regarding event planning and service, with one review highlighting issues with catering and communication during a private event.

Attended a private event at the club on a Monday. The golf course and club house are nicely maintained. The employees and food were all excellent.

Best view in Bucks for banquet room type events upstairs, and the downstairs bar is now open to the public- not just "member's only" access anymore.. that fact, along with having a brand new, full service kitchen (K's Kitchen and Catering, to be precise.. ) added just this past year behind the bar, makes Alexander's Pub a top notch venue and public hotspot.. The clubhouse and grounds are in top shape; a gorgeous sight when the pub has live entertainment on the patio out back on select Thursdays and Fridays, all throughout the summer.. I may have a bit of a biased opinion, but facts are facts.

Extended course review: Yardley Country Club offers a different challenge for today’s golfer; trying to figure out why it is a private course. At 100 years old, Yardley pales in comparison to other local greats (Makefield Highlands), but the golf course’s terrific design keeps it viable for the many members who play here. There are downsides. My Rueben was a ham and cheese sandwich. The greens are fast but boring (not a good combination). And then there are the trees, which are so tall that they decrease the usability of many portions of the fairways. Fairways leave something to be desired any…

Attended the Annual Bucks County Association of Realtors Inauguration. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic. The room was decorated nicely. They really paid attention to details.

I was fortunate enough to have a good friend invite me to play at this beautiful course. Staff was wonderful and I really enjoyed the time spent there.

Went for a funeral luncheon. The food was good as well as the service. There is a bar there, and they are open to the public. I haven't tried that yet, but I plan to.

We joined last year and I am very happy that we did. I was reluctant to commit to playing that much golf, but we did get out a decent amount - sometimes only playing a few holes if time was an issue. The course is gorgeous, the food and drinks at Alexanders are great and the staff always does a fantastic job. The other members that we've met over the past year have been friendly and inviting, especially during Wednesday night trivia and Friday happy hours at Alexander's.

Attended two events at The Yardley Country Club in 2017, and both were wonderfully elegant. High ceilings with beautiful chandeliers, overlooking their magnificent grounds. Thoughtful decor of dignified taste; which I would describe as more cozy and less gaudy in the traditional country club style. Service, food and drink were superb. Food was fresh, creatively presented and really good. Plenty of free parking in a serene nature-filled setting.

I had a shower here recently for my daughter in law. Service was terrible. We had to ask for water and coffee stations to be refilled. Brunch was served 30 minutes late. Event planner never came the day of the event. The dessert table that was included with the price was never set out. We were repeatedly lied to. We were told desserts were coming several times 40 minutes before the event was over, they set out 8 cookies and 8 bowls of pudding for 87 people. Embarassing! Ten minutes before the event was over, the wait staff told us the desserts were never in the kitchen. I have tried calling th…

Excellent conditions. Very playable golf course. Greens are perfect, fast and they protect the course. This is not a modern power track. It's old style and straight forward.
