In summary

Zephyrhills City Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, with many noting the course's decent condition and suitability for casual play. The layout, however, is often described as confusing, and some visitors mention that the greens and fairways could benefit from better maintenance. The course's proximity to an airport adds a unique setting, though it may contribute to noise distractions for some players.

I play this course when i'm in town during the winter months and generally ok with it but today my son in law and myself paid to play 18 holes, after the 4th hole it started to pour rain .Everyone went in, many left some stayed for a drink, we asked for a rain check and were flatly denied by Bob. I agree your rates are reasonable but its not exactly the Masters either, and definitlly not a deal when you only play 4 holes. Not a good way to do business. I would have been fine with a nine hole rain check. If I were the proprietor I would take this policy under consideration, not rocket science j…

Course is a good value. Tee boxes in good shape, greens and fairways are better than most courses around. Layout can be confusing at first. I recommend!

Would this be a good place to bring my 11 year old son? He can hit a ball good just has never been to a course.

I've been playing this course for years, its probably in the best shape it's ever been. They are working on planting more grass in fairways and most of the greens are in great shape.

A cheap and fun course but oddly designed. Fairways could use a good trimming. Good luck if you fire a grass skimmer. Your ball will be dead as soon as it hits the beginning of the fairway.

Decent course for the money. It appeared that some greens were recently (as of 1/13/19) redone, and the other ones were fairly well maintained. The only problem my group had was the layout of the course. Some of the holes were extremely short for what they were (I drove the green on 2 separate par 4s), and the order of the holes was confusing. On two occasions we found ourselves at a completely different hole than the one we ought to have been at; the staff was nice enough, though, and helped redirect us when needed. I would advise any newbies to the course to pay close attention to the map pr…

What a nice little course. Very reasonably priced. Decent greens , roll the ball in the fairway fpr a nice lie. Fun place to loosen up. Played Sunday March 14 ,guy outside was incredibly nice and welcomed us. Lady who works snack bar ,rude . Told us we can't play . If she was my employee she'd be fired now.

Course needs work and water. Suitable for all levels of players. Greens have good undulations, really test your putting. Summer hours are extremely limited. Pro shop closes at 12noon, so get there before then.

This was a mediocre course at best. The holes are scattered so far apart that if our 3-some hadn't hooked up with a 4th who was familiar with the course, we would still be looking for the second tee box. Conditions were not very good (greens included) and we were pushed by the ambassador because there was a group (local Wednesday Women's League) behind us who were very impatient. We were at a pace of approximately 11 minutes per hole. Price was very reasonable but we will NOT be going back. All in all, a mediocre place. Loved the easy eject hole inserts.

Greens are the worse kept greens in the area. Not sure if they even have a greens keeper on staff. Two of the holes are located by the sewage plant, so when the wind blows its very bad. It's cheap to play here is the only positive thing I have to say, plus the staff is very nice.

The price was right for this hack. Some of the greens need help, but it was an overall good experience. The layout is very confusing as it starts on one side goes around the back of an airport then back to the front side again. Also prepare for aircraft engine noise. If none of this bothers you then don't hesitate. Good learning course for new and young golfers.
