A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort is widely praised for its beautiful and challenging golf courses, with well-maintained conditions and stunning views, particularly of Torch Lake. The staff receives high marks for their friendliness and service, and the resort offers a range of amenities, including dining options and scenic accommodations. The two golf courses are beautiful, fun, and challenging. The condo we stayed in was somewhat dated. Clean and comfortable, just a little bit basic. Food at the resort was good, but just a little bit too expensive.

This place is the complete package! The Torch course was affordable, well groomed and offers views of beautiful Torch Lake. The lodge had incredible views of the lake and all the amenities you would need. Can not say enough about the friendly service from the owner. He went above and beyond! I will definitely be coming back to stay here. I highly recommend a stay and play package. So many great courses to play in this area.

All around great experience and course. The day before, we played Treetops, which ended up being a nearly six-hour round. The next day, we drove over to A-Ga-Ming to play Sundance, and it was a completely different experience. Upon entering the clubhouse, we were greeted by a friendly staff and an awesome dog. Teeing off on a Sunday morning with a threesome, we didn’t have to wait on any hole and finished just under four hours. The course was in fantastic condition, and the greens ran true. The food at the clubhouse was delicious, and the prices for everything were extremely reasonable for th…

Our group of eight came to A-Ga-Ming as part of a bachelor trip, and it could not have been a better choice. The course is absolutely stunning—rolling hills, lush fairways, and breathtaking views of the water make every hole feel like a postcard. It’s one of the most scenic courses we’ve ever played. Beyond the beauty, the playability was excellent. The layout offered the perfect balance: challenging enough for our more competitive golfers, but still enjoyable and fair for everyone in the group. The conditions were top-notch from tee to green, and the pace of play was smooth throughout. It’s…

Recently visited A-Ga-Ming during a family members birthday celebration trip. I had always heard great things about the course and was happy to finally get to experience it! We played the Torch and it offered a challenging and scenic 18 holes. The views of Torch lake on a few holes were spectacular. All of the staff we encountered was very friendly. The food in the club house was solid! Breakfast sammich and a Bloody Mary got the festivities kicked off right! I’ll definitely be back to check out the other 18 sometime.

We played the Sundance course which was great. It was in good shape, the front was short but was strategic and made you play smart. Enjoyed the whole course but the pace was brutally slow. Reason for 4 stars is the round was nearly 5.5 hours. Every tee box had a 10+ minute wait once we got to the 3rd hole.

We played 18 here on Friday afternoon and were fairly underwhelmed for the $125 we were paying to play. Greens were filled with divots and patchy grass. Beautiful holes and good scenery but the pace was awful. Back 9 holes took us 3 hours to complete and we were backed up 2 groups per hole. Would give it another try but there’s plenty of courses nearby that are better quality for lower prices

Played the Torch course with my son (paid roughly $150 for an Adult and Junior). On the tee box we were told we were the last group out and then maintenance would be tearing up the greens. What we didn't know is that the entire maintenance crew was going to be our gallery for the entire round. They literally followed behind us and waited for every shot, and sometimes were already on the green just waiting for us to finish the hole (they turned their machines off when we shot, but turned them right back on. We never escaped the sounds of the equipment). I've had more peace and quiet in the midd…

Two beautiful coarse and nice bar/grill with great sandwiches. House could use a little maintenance work, but clean and comfortable with nice views of the coarses.

This is wonderful Northern Michigan golf. A-Ga-Ming is part of a four course operation. Torch, Sundance, Antrim Dells and Charlevoix Country Club. Each course offers you different opportunities to use EVERY club in your bag and a few you wish you had. I love the old feel of Torch and Antrim Dells. Big old trees with some makeable birdies. These two course will challenge your targeting abilities yet reward you with a good score. The Charlevoix Country Club loop is more of a challenge than the old courses yet still has some wide open fairways to let it rip. The greens are fast in the summer mo…

The service, view and the surprise oven baked pizza was wonderful. The staff was genuine and friendly. I highly recommend breakfast with a view at the clubhouse. I have already recommended this to my friends who are planning a golf outing.

The staff, in all areas from golf to dining, were amazing. Well stocked pro shop even carries Ecco Shoes. Great range with actual targets, short game area, and putting green. The greens on both are extremely smooth, firm and good speed! Guessing 10-11 stimp depending on weather. Sundance is the premium course with a more modern design. Torch is very traditional but both courses are memorable as none of the holes are the same. Other two courses are offsite and I didn't get a chance play. Can't wait to go back and try them. Flying into Traverse City was the best decision as it's a great airport!…
