Beautiful course; out of 18, I loved the back 9 more, although it's a bit confusing if you're a first-time goer! Make sure you pay attention to the map lol. Range prices are pretty decent. Looking forward to being back : )

The course itself wasn't bad, I wouldn't return strictly based on the customer service provided by Jim. He's extremely rude for no apparent reason. The pace of play was also extremely slow 2.5+ hours to play 9 for 2 people.

Beautiful yet challenging course, reasonable rates, tournaments available, as well as lots of amenities. One of my favorites.

I travel to Alpena twice a year to play golf with my brother(s). This year, we brought a friend who is a new golfer (an out-of-state friend). On the 4th of July, we chose an early tee time, directly behind a group of two other friends. The math behind this is that we have a two man scramble and a three-man scramble directly after. For context, we started the round of 18 playing as two separate, individual scrambles. Issue being, we are waiting for 5-10 minutes at every tee box for the group ahead of us. I used to play here as a kid. Nice to return and see that the course is in excellent condition.

Great place too golf. Multiple par 3 holes and long par 5. Just north of beautiful downtown Alpena.

Excellent 18 hole golf course, driving range and putting range. Brand new carts and reasonable prices. The food and drinks are excellent with very good pricing. Well maintained with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. A must course to visit and it is right close to town. Close to the Ramada inn and the downtown area.

Friendly staff, well maintained fairways and greens. Was hoping to see the drink cart drive by, but that's not a deal breaker for me. The course layout is beautiful. Well be going back before season is over.

Make sure you go before they start their league, if not you won't be able to finish your round. We were literally told we couldn't finish because league was starting. They were pretty reluctant to refund our fees. Needless to say for the money you can find a better course to play and might even get better service too! .

Driving range is always in great shape, beer is always cold, and the staff, well you won’t find any friendlier.
