Had a great experience at Logger's Trace Golf Course. The course was in excellent shape, greens rolled great, and the layout was both fun and challenging. Staff was friendly, pace of play was smooth, and the scenery made it even better. Definitely a course worth coming back to.

Traveled to Harrisville for a wedding and played 2 rounds here. Course conditions were excellent and would absolutely love to play again. Very friendly and helpful staff!

Loggers Trace layout and difficulty competes with some of the most prestigious courses in Michigan. The previous owner Steve did a phenomenal job designing and maintaining the course for many years. However he retired and sold the place a few years ago and apparently the new owners have had trouble finding greens keepers who know what they’re doing. The course has always played as longer/slower greens and a bit higher cut fairways and tee boxes than your normal high level club. But this year, the greens have been burnt out or diseased and the fairways are higher than an inch. It’s simple, if t…

Course has undeniable potential!! Great piece of property. However maintenance is in great decline. Worst greens I have seen in many years. Very scruffy and slow. Fairways barely distinguishable from rough. Clover rules the day throughout. Don’t know if the budget is lacking or the knowledge? With recent humidity greens will be lost without chemical intervention. Very nice staff. 5 stars for potential!

Usually a great course for the money. Whole course needs a lot of maintenance though. Employees and management are very helpful professional and friendly.

Been playing here for 20 years during the holidays. But after a few years of not being up here I am very disappointed at what the course has become. Played the back 18 today and I have to say I haven’t played more disappointing greens in my life half these 5 star reviews talking about the greens have to be bots. Tee boxes look like they haven’t been mowed in over a week, fairways are as long as most courses rough, also it took 5.5 hours for 18 holes. We were surrounded by 6 person groups and even seen a 8 person group on the front number 9 when we were leaving. This place has so much potential…

Had a great day on the course. The staff was wonderful and working hard on a busy day. They went out of their way to accommodate everyone. The course is in great shape considering the dry conditions this year. Very hilly and challenging golf course with tight fairways through the woods as well as some wide open “links” style holes on the back nine. 5 stars!

I have been here quite a few times. Our visits have all gone well. However, the course on our last visit was not in great shape. The grass was long to the point where you could barely see the ball. There were also ant hills on the putting greens, and the sand pits didn't have anything to smooth them out. On the plus side, the prices are fairly reasonable, and there are discounts for minors 18 and younger. No discounts for seniors though. We will definitely be back for more golfing!

If you’re looking for the quintessential up north golf experience, Logger’s Trace is the place to play. Whether you play 9 holes or a full 18, you have picturesque views of the lake with a kiss of nature at every turn. Most importantly, the staff bends over backward to ensure that your experience makes you want to visit again.

Great course and nice little set up. Been playing here since I was 7 with my family. Favorite little spot up North. It's pretty crazy to think of what Steve built from his first 9 hole course. Great memories of playing with my grandfather and dad out here (who both have passed away).

Have been coming here for years and we enjoy our round of golf every time. Very quiet course that winds its way through the woods. Great layout and very playable. A wonderful course for the price.
